I cannot believe how you did this while being a full time mother. I applaud you!

While this is certainly a wonderful accomplishment, please know that there are many, many, many mothers who do this! It can, and IS, done all the time!

That is so awesome that you completed it- it’s my goal to a Disney run at some point in my life!! My parents were signed up for the half and it took them a couple hours to get through all the lines for their refunds. While they were upset they didn’t get to run they were really impressed with how Disney handled it!

love me some race recaps! Being from Florida and now as a runner, I feel it’s my right to do a Disney race (even though I haven’t been there since I was like 13!) … can’t wait to read about the race!!

I was at Disney this past weekend, and I was supposed to run the half. I was so disappointed, but I think they made the right call.

Congratulations on the marathon! I was a Goofy runner this weekend. I decided to stay in bed Saturday morning, and I am glad I did. I applaud everyone who went out to run their miles that morning. The cold front that moved through was brutal. I was freezing Sunday morning. I saw that we were in the same corral. We may have run by each other for some of it.

How come you never recapped your last two weeks of training? Also, just as a reader it’s been very frustrating reading your blog and having you promise posts and never follow through on it. For example, the Grokker “series” that seemed like a cheap shill and you said you would post weekly workout recaps that never happened, the promise of “gift guides” which were just an excuse to put up a bunch of affiliate links, and you didn’t do any more other than for your kid, and the haphazard training updates. It seems like blogging is just a holiday photo dump and occasional training recaps, and your heart doesn’t seem in it any more.
