Keeping Busy

by Meghann on April 8, 2014

We’re kicking off race season at work this week with our biggest event of the year. We’ve been working extra hard to make this event bigger and better than before, so I’ve excited to see it all come together this weekend.

That also means I’m exhausted, going a little crazy, and currently in need of a good glass of wine – yep, definitely race week. My meal plan for the week includes crock pot, crock pot, crock pot, and I’ve already warned Derek not to count on seeing me awake very much this week (I plan to pass the heck out as soon as I walk in the door each night).

However, despite all the crazy hours and stress, you know you’re at your dream job when it doesn’t really feel like work when you’re there. It’s still fun. There are times when I’m at sitting at my desk or I’m out in the field and I think, “Is this really my job? Do I get to do this cool stuff?” Yes, I do.

Just a heads up that I’ll be quiet on social media this week. Wish me luck and I’ll see you on the other side!

Here we go!

Have a great kick-off! It’s definitely worth the exhaustion when you look back at your day and say “yep, holy cow, I get paid to do that!”
