As I was digging my suitcase out from the bottom of my garage this morning, something hit me – it’s buried because I can’t remember the last time I used it. I’ve lived in Tampa for almost two months now and in those two months I haven’t had to pull my luggage out once.
I would call that a very good thing. 🙂
There was a point last fall where I was on a plane every other week and hotel rooms began to feel like home. I was tired, overworked, and cranky. I loved to travel and I love to see the world, but hopping from city to city for work wasn’t quite the same thing.
Do I miss traveling as much as I did? Absolutely not.
Have I suddenly claimed myself a homebody? Hell- to-the-no
But, it’s nice to plan out my own schedule and travel on my own time.
…are my favorite. 🙂
You can read more about my travels (both for work and for fun) in my travels page!
The elusive suitcase is now packed. Sort of. And I’m just about ready to head to Orlando for my next adventure. I’m leaving Maddie with Derek for a whole week. Just the two of them. For the first time. Let’s hope both of them are still alive and well when I return.
I sure will miss this face.
Oh, and this face too.
Charming. I know.
One more meal before i hit the road.
My last tortilla became an egg taco
Actually, a kale, egg, and salsa taco. 🙂
Pretzels and Mustard 🙂
Time to go!
