Thank you for all of your wonderful advice with my ‘pain in the neck’ situation.
This morning I googled some neck stretches and discovered this great set of stretches at Men’s Health online (found here). I also stopped at Walgreens on the way back from lunch to pick up some heating pads and made it as far as the check out line before discovering my wallet was missing. I had taken it out to order something online (online shopping is becoming a bad habit of mine!) last night and forgot to put it back. I guess I will just have to wait until after work to give those babies a go!
The stretching is helping through, I already feel a huge difference.
Oh, and for the record the only time my neck bothered me on my run was when I tried to turn my head. If it was a continuous pain or I thought something was seriously wrong besides just sleeping funky, then I would have not even attempted to run at all. I promise I’m not that crazy. And if the pain does continue I promise not to push it. 🙂
My snack this morning consisted of a mix of dried kiwi, pineapple and mango.
Lunch was left overs.
About 1/3 of the pizza I had last night. Not the prettiest pizza I’ve ever made, but it’s good.
Some people were commenting on the lentils and honestly I forgot they were there as I was eating the pizza. I find that lentils on their own have very little flavor, so they just kind of blend in. I added them more for their nutritious value rather than for what their taste or texture would bring to the pizza.

I saved the cantaloupe for last and ate it like dessert. It was so refreshing to cleanse my pallet with after the meal. 🙂
It is such a beautiful day outside today! Its in the 70s and the sun is shining bright – absolutely perfect Florida weather! Too bad I’m stuck inside all day, but at least I can still enjoy it a little with my new window.
