Ready to Party

by Meghann on December 24, 2009

The house is all decorated

The presents are wrapped

And the tables are set

Now all we need is for the guests to start arriving. Just a few short hours to go and according to my Mom we still have a lot to do. ๐Ÿ˜‰

We’ve been working nonstop to get this place spic and span for tonight.

When we broke for lunch I had the biggest craving for pumpkin yogurt and gingerbread men.

I just can’t get enough of these little guys.

I topped the pumpkin yogurt with a honeycrisp apple and pom

Then sprinkled the little man on top

RIP Gingerbread Dude

I’m jealous Anthony already got to open a present early – a collection of Sam Adam’s winter brews from my parents.

I hope he shares!

We discovered this morning that Maddie’s spay scar (from October) looks to be infected. ๐Ÿ™

I spoke with the vet and he assured me the bump is more than likely a blister caused by the inner muscle scar rubbing on the outside scar or something along those lines. He told me not to stress and bring her in once Christmas is over. ๐Ÿ™

She doesn’t seem to be in any pain, but it doesn’t stop me from worrying about my fur child.

She is also sporting a fashionable electric fence collar to keep her in my parent’s large yard while she is visiting.

Better get back to cleaning. I shall leave you with a photo of something that makes me alugh everytime I walk through the door.

Gotta love out doorman Chow getting into the christmas spirit.

Ho Ho Ho!

How nice! Does everyone get to sit at a table? We have tons of people for Christmas too but people spread all around.. kitchen table, dining room table, salon, living room, etc etc etc!

Merry Christmas Meghann!

Hahah doesn’t that gingerbread man kind of look like he has an angry expression on his face?!

The decorations and table settings are beautiful. That’s the best picture of Maddie I’ve ever seen!! Merry Christmas!

Wow, those are awesome decorations! And I can’t believe you get to wear that to run today. I am about to don some lululemon gear to go out for a run, but mine is all black and it covers a lot more of my body to keep me warm in the 30 degree weather in NJ! Oh well!

The house and the decorations look beautiful!

Wow! The decor looks beautiful! I completely understand about Maddie. My dog, Lux, has skin allergies and I have to take her to the vet every month or so for shots, but I’d rather spend the money than have her be uncomfortable and itchy. It’s not cheap, but it’s what you sign up for when you adopt ๐Ÿ™‚
