The Weekend is Over

by Meghann on December 14, 2009

Good Morning and Happy Monday everyone!

How was your weekend? Do anything festive?

I believe I was holiday festived out this weekend after Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Grinchmas, the Dash of the Elves, and the holiday party, I think I am ready for a nice calm week at work before it picks up all over again this weekend. 😉

I wanted a nice sweat this morning. I got out my weights and followed Jillian’s No More Trouble Zones thanks to exercisetv on demand. The work out is a tough one, but I always feel so great afterwards. Its the perfect way to start out the week.

For breakfast I dove into a refreshing bowl of cereal.

  • 1/2 cup Fiber Flakes
  • 1/2 cup Kashi Honey Sunshine
  • 2 spoonfuls Mona’s Granola
  • Plain Oikos
  • 1/2 Pear
  • Cherries

Instead of putting my pear in the refrigerator as I usually do, I put it in the fruit bowl on the corner. Bleh! The warm pear didn’t taste right, from now all fruit goes in the fridge so that it would always be cool and crisp. 😉

Less than 2 weeks until Christmas! Whose excited? I am!! 🙂

Eww I hate cold fruit! I always leave one pear out and put the rest in the fridge so that I can enjoy a room temperature one!

Christmas is so close! Woo!

No More Trouble Zones is a bee-yotch. Last time I did it it hurt for a week whenever I laughed because of all the ab stuff!

I’ve never tried that JM workout– I’ve only done The Firm.

I can’t believe Christmas is only TWO weeks away– eek! This time of year goes by SO quickly! (and the rest of winter passes SO slowly 🙂 )

Jillian Michaels kinda scares me… especially after seeing her cuss out contestants on the Biggest Loser. But she DOES have some good videos!

sounds like you had a fun holiday-filled weekend and a perfect week start too!

I’m the same way, I like my fruit cold… especially pears!

I hate warm fruit, I think peaches are the worst warm. All my fruit and veggies go in the fridge. I feel the same way about warm tomatoes that are eaten in coldish things like salad.

I’m excited 🙂 And I’m with you on the fruit – love it much more cold. It’s a very festive-looking breakfast bowl you have there though, even if you are tired out from the weekend!

Sounds like a great weekend! Your cereal bowl is cute. 🙂

I so know what you mean about the fruit. I think fruit bowls look pretty but I only eat fruit from the fridge!

Totally agree about cold fruit! I have a small refrigerator so when it’s too full, I keep the fruit in a bowl and put peices of fruit in one at a time!! hehe
