A New Cereal

by Meghann on December 10, 2009

Got to love those days when your work phone starts ringing before you even have a chance to put your purse away. Looks like I am in for a doozy today. :/

Good thing I already got a great run in this morning. 7 miles completed in just over an hour in the early morning drizzle. I think the rain inspired me to run faster. lol

Breakfast was a great bowl of cereal featuring a new cereal I have been wanting to try.

  • 1/2 cup Kashi H2H Warm Cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup Quaker Squares
  • Plain Oikos
  • Half an Apple
  • Sprinkle of Pumpkin Spice Granola

I really, really liked the new Kashi H2H. It was the perfect winter cereal. Eating it reminded me of Christmas morning and the wonderful cinnamon aromas that always seem to fill the air. I would recommend trying it for yourself.

Wish me luck on my first day back in the office. Let’s hope I get some time to breathe. πŸ™‚

I liked the Kashi Warm Cinnamon!

Speaking of reminding of Christmas, I’ve been listening to Christmas music the past few days and I think I’m ready!

I bought a box a few weeks ago and I love it. Tastes good if you pop it in the microwave for a little bit, too!

I love mixing lots of flavors and textures in my cereal bowl!

Do you ever warm up your apple in the microwave? I usually sprinkle my apple slices with cinnamon and heat for 90 seconds-2 minutes. Instant baked apple!

I have an ongoing obsession with kashi (especially their cereal). I agree- it’s an awesome winter cereal. Which is probably why I was a little skeptical when I tried that one when it came out a few months ago… definitely wasn’t ready for it yet!

I love kashi cereals! H2H with honey is definitely a favorite.

Good luck at the office today!

Love cinnamon. I’ve never bought Kashi H2H, but will pick it up instead of GoLean Crunch next time it’s on sale. (I stock up on cereal when it’s not full prices, since it lasts a long time.)

24 Chrysta December 10, 2009 at 1:08 pm

Sounds like a great run! Good luck on your first day back! Im sure you will be great!! The H2H cereal looks great!

Christmas in a bowl, yes please!!! I’ve never gotten into Kashi…well, cereal overall (minus cinnamon toast crunch and cookie crisp) I’m the diehard oatmeal fan (cliche, i know)

34 cdbuckeye December 10, 2009 at 6:47 pm

hopefully your day went well! Only one more day this week, you can do it! πŸ™‚

35 Amanda @ Cakes and Ale December 10, 2009 at 8:33 pm

I’m a huge fan of H2H… it seems heartier than other cereals for some reason. Oh – and have you tried Kashi Honey Sunshine? The best… it tastes like Cap’n Crunch!
