Time to hit the road

by Meghann on November 25, 2009

I’m free!! Let the holiday festivities begin! πŸ™‚

My car is packed, my T-day grocery list has been finalized, and Maddie is very confused why her crate and water bowl have suddenly disappeared. As soon as I hit publish on this entry I will officially be on my way to my parent’s house. Woop Woop!

I was a good girl and completed as much work as possible while waiting for my noon escape.

Around 10:00am I snacked on a Kashi Bar.

Once my day was complete at work and everything that had to be done was done, I raced home for a quick and easy lunch.

Leftover 15 Bean Soup.

Pumpkin Cornbread.

A couple of months ago I raved about the blog This Place is Now a Home (read my review here). Well, this morning the amazing couple who have been struggling with fertility issues got some very exciting news. I suggest you check their video out here to see for your self, but I have to warn you it’s a tear jerker.

Congrats Benjamin and Kate!!!

Now is when the fun begins – Hello holiday traffic!! Wish me luck! πŸ™‚

Have a safe trip in traffic. Get a good cd to rock out to! Isn’t it funny how dogs always know when you are leaving?

I’m currently stuck in an airport, but I am thankful for Starbucks for giving me holiday cheer in the form of endless soy lattes πŸ™‚ .
I just want to be home!

Oh man, I’m so glad NOT to be traveling this weekend and completely avoiding the traffic. It was bad enough getting home from work last night on the highways — good luck today!

We are really twins- I got off at 12 today as well and even EO got us confused. πŸ™‚ Have you tried any of the products yet?

Good luck with the traffic lady and have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
