Only one more day until Thanksgiving! Yippeee!!
I’ve been watching Thanksgiving specials on the tv all evening and it has really put me in the Thanksgiving spirit. I am now officially craving Pumpkin Pie, Cranberry Sauce, Green Bean Casserole, and Turkey. Can’t wait!
Before I can start celebrating the holiday I still need to get through half a day of work tomorrow, but then I’m free!
Work today was a tad slow which is to be expected with the impending holiday. My afternoon was filled with competitive research analysis and this fabulous afternoon snack.
Blueberry Oikos + Pumpkin Granola + Pom
I really enjoyed the pom in this combination. They gave each bit a nice, refreshing crunch. π
After work I was able to hit up Target and find an acceptable white shirt for Thanksgiving. Also, I may or may not have picked up an outfit to wear tomorrow as well. π
Now I am just trying to decide how I should wear my hair for pictures tomorrow – straight or curly?
What do you think?
Dinner tonight was semi- homemade.
I started by heating up some onion, okra, & broccoli on the stove top.
I then added this package of TJ’s Indian Fare that had been the pantry a while.
The semi-homemade combination of bulking up a prepackaged meal with veggies allowed me to finally try an item in my pantry while aiding to the mission of emptying my fridge. It was a win-win.
I paired the combination with a little cous cous and raisins.
And a Flat Out Wrap on the side for dipping. ;./
Dessert was a bit of Foodbuzz Festival Swag courtesy of Frog Hollow Farms.
I was a bit worried of the cherry element of these cookies as I am not a fan of dried cherries or cherry flavored things, but these cookies were great. They reminded me of Famous Amos cookies and no cherry flavoring could be detected. π
Yum!
Now, I need to finish packing, finish putting clothes away, and empt the dishwasher.
Good Night!!
Curly hair! You look gorgeous π Happy thanksgiving!
Curly!
I like it curly! Wish mine would do that.
CURLY FOR SUrE!!!
I vote for curly hair!
Another vote for curly! Your dinner looks delicious!
Love your semi-homemade meal, looks very yummy! I think curly hair takes the cake!
Do the curly hair!! I like both but curly is better π
You look adorable both ways but the curly hair really suits you π
Curly!!!
CURLY!!!
..and that dinner looks so AMAZING!!!.. can you tell I am hungry right now. Time to go snack π
Happy Thanksgiving!
I was definitely craving indian for dinner but had nada to feed that with!
Curly!!!
I love it curly!! adorable!
Straight is sleek and sexy and professional…I like it better π
I am on a curly kick right now – CURL AWAY!
curly
I vote for curly… it always looks really natural and pretty that way!
another vote for curly!
Curly
I vote curly hair π
I love the wavy hair!
I really like your hair curley and I think that you should weat it like that for the pictures!!
Oo I love that TJs meal!
I vote curly too! You’ve got great hair. I try to make curl like yours and it’s toast by 10am.
I love TJ’s packaged meals! Actually, I love anything that TJ’s makes, but especially almond butter, trail mix, pumpkin butter, and greek yogurt!
Wow – my very first comment to you (after reading your blog for a year) is about your hair. I love it straight. Very city, very sleek, I definitely think its the best look for you.
I love your blog. I also LOVE your curly hair. Happy Thanksgiving!
Duh, CURLY!!!! super cute
Another vote for curly. You look beautiful either way, but I love the flowing locks.
I prefer curly.
I like the straight! But you look great both ways. Family pictures are fun because someone always looks less then perfect. The experience is more fun then the outcome!
I’ve seen that TJ’s curry in the store before and never sure if it would be good or not. Maybe it’s worth picking up on my next run there…
They both look great but curly might be more fun and casual with white shirts and jeans. Especially if you take pics outside. ;p Happy Thanksgiving!
i can’t wait for thanksgiving as well! i think i like the hair straight the best!
jenna
curly hair! i totally wish i had waves in my hair like yours! π yay for only a half day of work! π

Your semi homemade dinner looks delicious! I love spicy Indian food π especially if it’s quick and easy.
Definitely curly. You are beautiful no matter how you where your hair.. but curly suits you.
Yup, curly. And in the green bikini. π It’d been too long.
You are actually inspiring me to try wearing my hair curly tomorrow. I’ll let you know how it goes…
did i miss it…what did you think of that tj’s meal? i have the exact same one but have yet to eat it. hah.
and i say curly!!! i think it’s because i envy anyone that has curly or can curl their hair, because i can’t. untalented like that.
I like both hairstyles.. but for the pictures I think straight would look the prettiest =)
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!
Curly girly! I love both but loving the curly.
That snack looks fantastic, I need to some some pom somewhere, so fresh!
Don’t worry, I’m still voting for ya π
i like curly! i wish my hair would do that, but it’s as flat as a board
I think your hair looks fabulous both ways, but my vote would go to ‘Curly’.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving π
xoxo
Tough call but I vote straight. I think I’m outnumbered though π
I really like your hair curled, it makes you look more elegant and sophisticated! π
Wear it curly! π
curly – definitely! have a great holiday.
That dinner looks so yummy! I love bulking up “easy-store bought” meals with veggies– so good!
My vote is for curly (I am a curly girl myself so I may be slightly biased)– but I think you look lovely either way π
Oh,definitely curly. It not only looks really pretty, but also seems more casual. So perfect for a fun, carefree holiday.
Have fun!
I’ve always thought curly hair looked great on you! and maybe a pair of dangly earrings for the photoshoot tomorrow…:)
Curly hair for sure! And your dinner looks delish…enjoy your thanksgiving!
Curly looks great! Happy Thanksgiving!
CURLY!
I really like your wavy style!
It looks like I am in the minority, but I vote for straight!
Curly for sure π
Both ways are very cute, but I like straight! π
i think it depends on what you wear. if you wear a more billowey top, i’d wear it straight but if you wear something that needs jazzing up i’d wear it curly. either way, you’ll look fab!
