A New Obsession

by Meghann on November 20, 2009

I have a new obsession and its name is ExerciseTV on Demand.

Having ready-to-go work outs at the touch of a button is just so easy and since there are so many options I feel like I never get bored. I do miss my days of creating my own living room or tennis court boot camps, but lately it has been nice to not think and just do from the instructors tell me to do.

I am hoping once my marathon training is over I can incorporate more personalized work outs back in my routine, but for now the Tank Top Arms and Buns & Thigh Yoga work outs I did this morning thanks ExerciseTv on Demand were pretty kick butt. πŸ˜‰

After having to politely decline on my supervisor’s French Toast Casserole yesterday, you know what was on the menu for breakfast this morning. πŸ˜‰

Delicious French Toast topped with Oikos, Pom, Flax Seed, and Cinnamon. Yum!

I am pretty basic with my french toast I simply dunk two pieces of bread in a egg white bath and then fry up in a little spray of oil on the griddler.

My Deepest Sympathies Georgia Fans….

UGA VII, Georgia’s beloved mascot, passed away yesterday of heart related causes at the age of 4.

I am not personally a Georgia fan, but when I heard the news on the radio this morning it broke my heart. Having lost my own puppy, Abbie, just a couple of months ago I feel the pain of all Georgia fans everywhere.

Sam-E Good Mood Gig…

ekkkkk…. I checked the polls this morning and I am officially 2,000 votes behind! πŸ™

So now the time has come to beg and plead for votes. Please, Please, Please, please click here and vote for me today. You guys are great and I truly appreciate every ounce of support!!!

I heard about UGA on the radio (I live in ATL) and my eyes started tearing up. He was only 4. Sad.

11 Shannon Otto November 20, 2009 at 10:32 am

Thank you for the Uga sympathies! I’m a UGA alum and found out late yesterday afternoon … it’s so sad! I’m definitely biased, but he’s one of the best mascots in college football! And that French toast looks absolutely A-mazing.

12 greensandjeans November 20, 2009 at 10:38 am

Your french toast looks seriously tasty!

13 VeggieGirl November 20, 2009 at 10:39 am

Poor pup πŸ™

15 Caroline November 20, 2009 at 11:09 am

I’m starting to think there’s something in the water… Abbie, we had to put my dog down two weeks ago, my roommate’s mother’s dog died mysteriously this week, and now Uga.

Hey Meghann, how long do you have to wait until you find out if you got the gig? I’m voting for you on 3 different computers and hope you win it! Happy Friday!

20 Evan Thomas November 20, 2009 at 11:38 am

Your breakfast looks delicious! Arils make anything look good.
And that’s so sad about the mascot. I feel blessed to have Montana in my life for almost 12 years now and I can’t wait to go home this afternoon to see him

21 Christy November 20, 2009 at 11:50 am

Thanks, Meghann, for posting about Uga. I work at the University of Georgia, and I’ve lived in Athens, GA my whole life, and it definitely is a sad day in Athens. πŸ™

You breakfast looks delicious!!!

22 carlysharec November 20, 2009 at 11:53 am

Thanks for the Uga sympathies – grew up in Georgia and am a huge UGA fan, but even more importantly I’m a major dog lover. My baby is almost three, and I cannot imagine the devastation of the family of losing a fairly young dog.

23 Erica November 20, 2009 at 11:58 am

ugh… I found out about UGA last night and almost cried. Its so scary for me because I know bulldogs have so many health problems πŸ™ I just hope Franky lives forever!

On a more positive note- the breakfast looks INCREDIBLE and I’m glad you found a workout you love

24 kristin November 20, 2009 at 12:30 pm

i voted!!

that dog is SO CUTE! So sad that he died πŸ™

25 angieinatlanta November 20, 2009 at 12:49 pm

I’m a UGA alum and I’m definitely super bummed about UGA. He wasn’t even our mascot for two full seasons – so sad and unexpected!

26 Marissa November 20, 2009 at 1:07 pm

AW πŸ™

27 Laura Georgina November 20, 2009 at 2:54 pm

Poor UGA! I’m going to be extra nice to my dog today to show my gratitude (and I’ll be clicking votes in until December 7!)

28 Shannon (The Daily Balance) November 20, 2009 at 3:01 pm

Exercise TV is the best!!! So convenient!

29 Jess November 20, 2009 at 10:04 pm

I’m usually a lurker around here, but just thought I would let you know I am voting for you every day off both of my computers. Keep up the good work!

Yum french toast! I know what I’m having for breakfast tomorrow!

30 Jordan November 21, 2009 at 12:31 am

The french toast looks yummy! I never thought about putting the pom on something like that. I just pop them like candy straight out of a bowl. Lol.

31 Kristen November 21, 2009 at 10:29 am

Thanks for posting about Exercise TV!! I had no idea it was part of my cable package, and FREE! Gotta love that.

Now I have NO excuses not to exercise, even when it’s cold and dreary outside. YAY.

32 Lauren November 30, 2009 at 1:32 pm

ExerciseTV is awesome!!! You should check out their cyber monday deals!! They have everything in their store on sale and they have special gifts under $25, $50 or $100!
