Febreze Home Collection Giveaway

by Meghann on September 30, 2009

I told you this week’s lunches were going to be leftover central. πŸ˜‰

Today’s lunch left overs came in the form of a Chickpea Parmesan Burger.

Heated up in the microwave and stopped with some Marinara sauce and Mozzarella  cheese, this burger was still just as yummy as it was Sunday night.

On the side I had some fresh Green Bean β€˜Fries’

I called them fries because I ate them fry like in their raw form. Raw green beans are very crunchy and refreshing to eat.

For something sweet, my lunch plate also included some Dried Mango and Pineapple.

Mid –Morning I snacked on some Blueberry Trail Mix Clusters.

Febreze Home collection Review gave me the opportunity recently to try out the NEW Febreze Home Collection

. IMG_2717

Normally I try to stay away from product samples that do not fit in with the Healthy Living theme of my blog, but as many of you may know I’ve been having some trouble potty training this little ball of fur.

That’s right, my apartment smells like dog! I figured this was the perfect opportunity for Febreze to come to the rescue and save my sanity. Currently, I cringe anytime someone enters my apartment. I am constantly paranoid of the distinct dog smell and am always on my hands and knees trying to find the latest culprit to scrub with Nature’s Miracle.

In an effort to cover the odor, the last couple of days I have been putting the new Febreze Home Collection to the test. On Monday I interspersed all of the home collection elements in various locations around my tiny apartment and I am happy to say my apartment now smells clean and fresh.

My Full Review:

Green Tea & Citrus Flameless Luminary

IMG_2720 IMG_2724

  • Smells Pretty
  • Very strong sent that masks odors instantly
  • Battery has an automatic shut off at 4 hour hours so that I can turn it on when I come home from work and it automatically turns off when I go to bed.

  • The fact that it is battery operated. I am very bad at replacing batteries once they die.
  • The shade is very potent and once you’ve touched it with your bare hands, its impossible to wipe free of the strong scent.

Green Tea & Citrus Soy Blend Candle

IMG_2721 IMG_2727

  • Smells Good
  • Candle is a good size, so it will last a while
  • I love lighting a candle in the kitchen once I’ve cleaned up for the evening. It brings peace to the room once I’ve destroyed it and put it back together again.

  • When the wax melts it kind of looks burnt?

Green Tea & Citrus Room Spray

  • Great for covering up dog smells on spot locations

  • DO NOT use in car! This is probably a given but I had to ride with the window open this morning because the smell was a bit too strong.

 Green Tea & Citrus Diffuser

IMG_2723 IMG_2728

  • I love how stylish and modern the diffusers look
  • Small enough to find a spot on my sink in my bathroom
  • Made my whole bathroom smell wonderfully

  • Can very easily be spilled
  • The top cap doesn’t screw on, so it kind of just sits there?

Overall my apartment smells GREAT at the moment! You can’t even tell a dog lives here. πŸ™‚ I know these are all just temporary fixes, but for now they set my nose at ease. In a few weeks I have plans to do a full carpet steam clean and even after I know the new Febreze additions will keep my apartment smelling fresh.

Want to try out the NEW Febreze Home Collection for yourself?

In my box of goodies the good people at included a $20.00 gift card to Wal-Mart to pass on to a reader.

To win the gift card simply leave a comment with why you need the Febreze Home Collection in your house. Have a smelly cat/ dog/ husband? Live next to a dump/ river/ indian burial ground? What ever is is, leave it here.

You have until 8:00am tomorrow morning and I will randomly draw a winner at my breakfast post.

Thanks again to and Febreze Home Collection!

I’d love to win to make my new apartment smell good!

2 Caitlin in MD September 30, 2009 at 1:28 pm

I think my main problem is that I have the MOST sensitive nose known to man. And I am extremely anal about having a nice smelling house. But combine that with my crazy yellow lab – and my boyfriend who is an athlete and a manual laborer and a hot mess anyway – I also cringe when people come over!

3 Allie B. September 30, 2009 at 1:30 pm

How perfect! I just adopted a new kitty! She is two months old and from an animal shelter and very adorable and nosey! We are doing good with the litter box the majority of the time, but there have a been a few incidents! Also, where the litter box is could use a little bit of a fresher smell! Livvy is so cute and we are working hard to get her 100% on the litter box, but training an animal does take some time and patience! I would love some frebreeze to keep my home smelling fresh and nice!

4 Katie September 30, 2009 at 1:31 pm

I need it because I live with a male roommate who is a soccer coach. He does not clean, he does not take his cleats off when he comes home and he leaves food all over the house. Enough said.

5 Monica C. September 30, 2009 at 1:32 pm

As a busy owrking mom, I know there is nothing more relaxing after a hard day’s work than coming home to a fresh, clean house. I know Febreeze’s products will help turn my house into a warm, comforting environment for me and my family!

6 amanda @ fake ginger September 30, 2009 at 1:33 pm

I live with 3 males – a husband, a 2 year old, and a dog. I’m sure that says enough. πŸ˜‰

7 Tracey @ tropicalhappiness September 30, 2009 at 1:35 pm

I would loooove to try these out! I have two cats, and they are fairly clean, but my husband and I are clean freaks. Our house might not always be neat, but it is always clean. We clean the house from top to bottom once a week. I would love to try these out so that my house always smells great!

8 heatherfeather September 30, 2009 at 1:37 pm

why not??? i love febreeze anyway, and i’d love to come home to a freshly febreezed apartment! what a practical giveaway… thanks meghann πŸ™‚

9 Emily @ My Chubby Confessions September 30, 2009 at 1:39 pm

I neeeeeed this! I just bought a house and my dog is going crazy! He’s completely forgot about potty/pad/outdoor training. I guess it doesn’t help that they had cats prior but still. It’s killing me on the smell almost!

I also have this weird obsession with febreeze. Everytime I go to Wal-Mart and I see they have new scents out I HAVE to have it. I think I have accumulate roughly around 5 bottles..but it’s amazing! =]

10 Maria September 30, 2009 at 1:40 pm

I need this badly! Not only does my plae smell like dog, but between busy schedules, I need some extra help to mantain a nice smell at home! This would be a great win for me πŸ™‚

11 Pam September 30, 2009 at 1:41 pm

I would love some new scents for the house because my cat Bob has been spraying in the house. Yuck!

12 Jackie September 30, 2009 at 1:42 pm

I need to win this. I have an old dog (14 years) and accidents do happen!

13 Danica September 30, 2009 at 1:42 pm

I LOVE that chickpea parm burger – I want one! Ok – don’t laugh at this, but, our house often smells like beer brewing from the breweries by us. I actually have grown accustomed to the smell though and think it smells alot like boiling potatoes

Febreeze would be a nice refreshing “girlie” smell change πŸ™‚

14 cookinfanatic September 30, 2009 at 1:43 pm

I am a dog owner as well, and any nice smelling candle/fragrance product is always appreciated!! I am also a candle fanatic, light one almost every night bc I just love the relaxin’ mood it sets πŸ™‚

15 allisonleigh September 30, 2009 at 1:43 pm

Two Words: College Guys. Holy man- they stink!
I live in an apt building and I often can smell them OUTSIDE of their “domain”…I would love to win this!! Something girlie!

16 jen September 30, 2009 at 1:45 pm

Recently adopted a homeless neighborhood cat

17 Stephanie September 30, 2009 at 1:47 pm

No matter how clean my pup really is, he still smells like a dog! PLEASE!! πŸ™‚

18 ohsnapitsMegan September 30, 2009 at 1:48 pm

I work, freelance, volunteer at church and take care of/live with my husband, his brother and our one-year-old puppy (amongst other things). My life is wonderful and amazing (I truly am blessed)… but I have to say, sometimes my house gets a little abused and I don’t always have time to make sure it sparkles, shines and doesn’t smell. Not only are my boys smelly and my puppy stinky… but they seem to lack olfactory glands and wait until I can’t stand to walk into the house to help me out with things like dishes and taking out the trash. I rely heavily on candles, sprays and any quicky fragrance I can get on the cheap to help me (but i really enjoy febreeze and yankee). I think that scent is a huge thing, and when you can walk into a room, breath deep and just relax… that makes all the difference in the world after a long day.

19 crystal September 30, 2009 at 1:51 pm

I have a stinky dog and a baby who has feet that smell like vinegar.

20 Danielle Lowe September 30, 2009 at 1:52 pm

I am the owner of two lovely dogs, but no matter how many times I wash them they will always smell like, well dogs. The Febreze collections would sure make my house smell lovely and less dog like!

21 ohsnapitsMegan September 30, 2009 at 1:53 pm

I hope that comment didn’t sound super self absorbed and bratty! It sounds like there are a lot of ladies out there with very similar situations! Happy smells to whomever wins!

22 Amanda September 30, 2009 at 1:54 pm

I could REALLY use some Febreze items because I live in a teeny tiny (really, 350 square foot) studio apartment. I looove to cook with interesting ingredients, but my apartment smells like onion, garlic, indian food, what have you … for days afterwards, and it’s where I sleep!! HELP!

23 Maddy September 30, 2009 at 1:59 pm

This is totally something I could use. No matter how clean my house is, I always feel like it has a certain smell, especially when my dad’s been cooking lol

24 Elise September 30, 2009 at 1:59 pm

I need it because I live in a dorm room!!!!!!!

25 Lauren September 30, 2009 at 2:01 pm

I have to make those chickpea burgers sometime soon.

I’d LOVE to try out the Febreeze collection. I bought the limited edition pumpkin candle and it smells great.

I need it because I live in a loft—any smells from my kitchen go everywhere! Not great when you have banana peels in the trash πŸ™‚

26 Jesse September 30, 2009 at 2:01 pm

I could use some because in the six months of marathon training I have accumulated not two, not three, but four pairs of worn-in, smelly, dirty and usually pretty wet running shoes. The combination of these being stuck in my room’s corner, with my laundry bag full of sweaty, stinky running clothes, definitely calls for some Febreeze!! Please!!

27 Cait September 30, 2009 at 2:02 pm

I absolutely LOVE the Febreze brand, but I have yet to try the new collection. I could definitely use it because whenever somebody cooks food in the kitchen, the smell tends to travel up to my room and linger there. It usually smells yummy BEFORE I eat dinner, but smelling it hours later gets to be a bit nauseating.

28 Elliott September 30, 2009 at 2:02 pm

We live in a downtown condo that is only two years old. However, our hallway smells like a combo of puppy and old garbage, neither of which we have in our home. Turns out the whole building is having plumbing issues and they’ve asked us to be patient while they figure out the stinky issue. I’d love some febreeze to help us deal until it’s fixed!!

29 Amber September 30, 2009 at 2:02 pm

Hello Meghann,

I have been a blog stalker for months now. I love your story and you truly are an inspiration. Like you, I have a new puppy (my first), a Morkie. Her name is Ava. It’s been difficult because I swore I would never own a dog because of the accidents and smells. But I fell in love with her. Now my house SMELLS like dog and poo. HELP! πŸ™‚

30 kirsten September 30, 2009 at 2:03 pm

I would like to try the febreeze collection because for some reason every since I moved into my apt on July 1st I cannot get the paint smell out

31 maren September 30, 2009 at 2:06 pm

id love to win, as i live in a small apartment in nyc with my puppy and boyfriend. so clean, fresh smells would definitely be welcome!

32 Deb September 30, 2009 at 2:06 pm

I have a couple of unnamed family members who have 2 kids, 1 cat and 1 dog. Only the two adults and one child are housebroken. All others are questionable. I would be delighted to give them these products!!!

By the way, Maddie looks like she’s sneering at your comments about her lack of house training!!

33 Michelle September 30, 2009 at 2:09 pm

I live down the street from a chinese restaurant. it may be convenient, but sometimes, when the wind blows a certain direction, my apartment smells like fried rice. not the best aroma for early in the morning, i must say!

34 Becky September 30, 2009 at 2:10 pm

I would love to try these! I have a smelly little Boston terrier named Molly:)

35 Al September 30, 2009 at 2:12 pm

My smelly husband…you can see the green wavy lines coming from our home πŸ™‚

36 Christine September 30, 2009 at 2:12 pm

I would love to win these!!

37 JL September 30, 2009 at 2:12 pm

I love to cook fish but it’s too hot to have the windows open!

38 Marcie September 30, 2009 at 2:12 pm

Definitely because of my little furry dog/children

39 Carol September 30, 2009 at 2:13 pm

I take in rescue animals, so you can imagine the varied smells (including skunk) that occur!

40 Billie September 30, 2009 at 2:14 pm

We just had a baby and a newborn’s diapers REQUIRE Febreze…the baby should come with some at the hospital!

41 karla September 30, 2009 at 2:14 pm

these would be great! between my boyfriend and my pug, our house doesn’t always smell the best!

42 Lucy September 30, 2009 at 2:14 pm

I live in South Florida with no A/C…definitely needed@

43 Danielle September 30, 2009 at 2:15 pm

My musty apartment would just love some Febreze products!

44 janette September 30, 2009 at 2:16 pm

I have something worse then a pet I have a husband hahahaha, I was looking at some of the products the other day but 15.00 for air freshner was a bit pricey so I put it back.

45 Jennifer September 30, 2009 at 2:17 pm

Between two dogs and all of the stinking clothes from non stop training I NEED these!

46 Julie September 30, 2009 at 2:27 pm

I need these because…this is gross…but my gym clothes STINK up my room. My hamper is in there and the stench of sweaty gym clothes wafts through the room. It’s the only place it will fit! I nned that gift card too…I found some sweet running tanks there this weekend for $5!!

47 Jojo September 30, 2009 at 2:27 pm

I live with my parents, younger brother, 3 cats and 1 dog. My mother is not the cleaning kind of gal and my brother’s hygiene is terrible. I want to keep my corner of the house smelling beautiful!

48 Sarah (from See Sarah Eat) September 30, 2009 at 2:28 pm

We are quite the smelly household! I have a dog, a husband who works outside most of the day on a hot bus and me with all my stinky workout clothes I bring home.

We also sometimes pick up the smells of our neighbors cooking, blech. I would love to try the new Febreze line! Thanks πŸ™‚

49 Amisha September 30, 2009 at 2:32 pm

I NEED this collection because I love cooking (a lot of Indian food) and I live in Chicago. You cant even open the windows to let the food smell out in the winter!

50 Rae September 30, 2009 at 2:34 pm

Two smelly triathletes who train up to 15 hours a week indoors and out. My poor workout area downstairs smells like the worst stuff imaginable after a sweaty 60 mile bike ride. HELP!!

51 Alison September 30, 2009 at 2:39 pm

I would love to win this! I have a husband who doesn’t see or smell dirt…until I strongly suggest he help out with some of the cleaning! I am going to be traveling for work soon, and this would help keep our home a little more pleasant for my return =)

52 Holly Wilson September 30, 2009 at 2:43 pm

I’ve got it all…a smelly husband and smelly dogs! I’m always afraid my house stinks!!!

53 Brooke September 30, 2009 at 2:43 pm

I would love to try these products! I have a 4 year old teacup poodle who still can’t seem to grasp the idea of potty training!

54 Jaci September 30, 2009 at 2:45 pm

3 Reasons Jaci Needs Febreeze

1. My 6 month old boxer smells up the place πŸ™
2. My BF is a personal trainer and he’s in a stinky gym all day.
3. We live in the basement of a townhouse…with 2 other guys upstairs!

Stinky! Haha!

55 Steph September 30, 2009 at 2:46 pm

Love the idea of green tea candle and soy!
Have “mantown” in the basement and would love to freshen it up!

56 Sara D. September 30, 2009 at 2:48 pm

I have a spiteful little troll for a dog, whenever I go away for a few days for work (leaving him home with my husband) he leaves yellow surprises. Somehow my husband can’t smell them and the instant I come home I can and wander around trying to find the latest spots.

57 Holly M. September 30, 2009 at 2:48 pm

Training my little pup is was not fun! It takes a lot of patience. His special word is “potty” so when he hears it he recognizes what it means!

I lovvveee candles! Adds so much warmth to the home!

58 Brie (The Fit Bride) September 30, 2009 at 2:51 pm

I have a cat with Irritable Bowel Syndrome.

I won’t go into details. But it’s stinky.

59 Andrea September 30, 2009 at 2:52 pm

I have 5 reasons that I need this….2 stinky chocolate labs and 3 stinky boys (my husband and two sons). No seriously, the upstairs sometimes smells like one big poopy diaper…yuck!

60 Kelly September 30, 2009 at 2:53 pm

Wow- if I don’t win this, I sure hope Brie does….ewwww…cat with IBS!!

I have a golden retriever – love her – but she knows how to smell up a room:-)

61 Amber September 30, 2009 at 2:54 pm

I have a smelly cat. Love your blog! Thanks for keeping us all posted.

62 Stephanie September 30, 2009 at 2:54 pm

My apt is very small and everytime I cook, the next person to walk in the door knows what I had for dinner.

63 fittipexchange September 30, 2009 at 2:55 pm

All of the above…stinky cat, dog, and boyfriend…all male. Typical.

64 Leianna September 30, 2009 at 2:56 pm

Kitty litter…enough said!

65 Danielle September 30, 2009 at 2:57 pm

I have a puppy who likes to pee on everything to mark his territory. I NEED the Febreze in my life! Help me! Haha

66 Lauren September 30, 2009 at 2:57 pm

Two kids in diapers…..enough said πŸ™‚

67 Sarah September 30, 2009 at 2:58 pm

I have a 20 lb cat, you can only imagine the damage that he can do!

68 Amanda September 30, 2009 at 2:58 pm

Bc living with 3 other 20-Something female roomates cleaning is the last thing we want to be doing when we aren’t working/going to grad school! But we still want to make our house smell nice for all the entertaining we love to do!

69 Anna September 30, 2009 at 2:59 pm

First I just want to tell you that we sell reed diffusers where I work and they too have lids that just sit and don’t screw. I’m unsure as to why that is but it’s makes them very easy to spill!

Anyway onto the topic at hand…

My cat’s favorite thing to do it poop and/or pee as soon as I clean his litterbox! This results in a constant smell of dirty cat box around my tiny apartment. We have no room to hide the litter box so it sits in the living room for all to see and smell. I would love the gift card to purchase some Febreze to mask the smell of my smell cat!

70 Anna September 30, 2009 at 2:59 pm

*smelly cat

71 Katie B. September 30, 2009 at 3:02 pm

I have 2 very lovable dalmations…the dog smell…not so lovable πŸ™‚

72 Marci Williams September 30, 2009 at 3:09 pm

73 Leah September 30, 2009 at 3:10 pm

I have a husband (who loves to work out = smelly) and a dog. I love Febreeze stuff but I havent tried their home collection products – i would love to!

74 chocolate pickle September 30, 2009 at 3:11 pm

I don’t have any dogs but I have a husband who likes to go out to smokey bars on the weekends, come home, sit all over the couches in his smoke-filled clothes and then leave his smokey clothes on the carpet or bed! I hate smokey bars and am always spraying things to make the air smell better after a weekend out!

75 Laura September 30, 2009 at 3:13 pm

What a fun contest! I’ve seen these around the Internet and was very happy to see the new products finally made it to the SE Wisconsin market.
I’d love to try the products because I live with my boyfriend, a dog, a cat and a male roommate! I think that the styling on the products looks great, just slightly feminine and very stylish, and would make a great addition to our decor.
Not to mention the dog and cat smells that I’d like to be rid of!

76 Kathryn September 30, 2009 at 3:13 pm

My fiance works the night shift packing boxes onto fedex trucks. He just graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in sport management but is unable to find a job. He comes home smelling awful and then takes off his work boots and leaves them around the house along with his stinky dirty clothes in our laundry basket. He really stinks up the house. This would be a great way to rid the odor πŸ™‚

77 L.A. Daze September 30, 2009 at 3:13 pm

Oooh I could totally use this. I just moved and now live with a roommate who has a little dog. That little dog has already taken a dump in my room a few times (I don’t understand why at 6 months, she isn’t potty trained yet). I light up candles every night, but at the rate i’m going, i’m buying a new candle every week! On top of that, I live next to a freeway, and it feels like I never have any fresh air circulating in my room.

78 Wendy September 30, 2009 at 3:13 pm

My husband and I just bought a house that we are totally in love with! The previous owners were wonderful enough to put a fresh coat of paint on a few rooms and now we can’t seem to get rid of that “paint” smell. I am already a huge fan of other Febreze products I’ve tried so I’d love to test these new ones out!

79 greenbean September 30, 2009 at 3:20 pm

i want to win this product to make my apartment feel welcoming and inviting. i’ll be honest, i’m super messy. but whenever i get a new candle or i’m super inspired to clean up. and like you said, lighting it in the evening makes me feel good and at peace.

80 Theresa September 30, 2009 at 3:24 pm

In my small, one-bedroom apartment, my boyfriend and I celebrate “Pancake Saturday”, which is his time of the week to cook something special for me. Lately it has grown to include bacon, which apparently cannot be cooked without filling up the whole space with bacon smell and smoke! I’d love this collection to make sure our brand-new furniture does not always carry that smell with it!

81 TanyaS September 30, 2009 at 3:25 pm

I have a cat & a dog & 2 kids. There’s always a scent of some sort lingering and I’d love a fresh smelling house.

82 Maria Ann September 30, 2009 at 3:27 pm

i live in the city right between two sushi places and I can smell the sushi/fish smells through my vents!

83 Stephanie (Surviving Chicago) September 30, 2009 at 3:27 pm

I live in a high rise building where the windows don’t open! If food or my boyfriend stinks up the apartment, I’m screwed!

84 Carrie September 30, 2009 at 3:28 pm

2 dogs = twice the smell!!!!

85 Katie September 30, 2009 at 3:31 pm

It would be great to use in my kitchen when I have to bake chicken and throw away scraps in the trash can! It always smells horrible!

86 Lindsay Lu September 30, 2009 at 3:37 pm

I just love to walk into a house that smells pretty!

87 Laura September 30, 2009 at 3:41 pm

I’m in a college apartment with some people, who… do I say this correctly…don’t exactly have the best hygiene. We live in such close quarters that this would be such a great addition to the apartment!

88 Jessica B September 30, 2009 at 3:49 pm

I live in a small apartment with three smelly creatures: a boyfriend and our 2 dogs! We are still training our little puppy dachshund so the Febreze collection would be awesome!

89 Mel September 30, 2009 at 3:50 pm

I love smelling all things yummy — my house doesn’t smell too bad but the husband does need some febreezing — particularly after running =P I would love to try the goods out on him!

90 megan September 30, 2009 at 4:01 pm

i have the same problem as you except mine is with a cat! now that the weather is getting colder she won’t go outside as much and the smell of the littler box drives me crazy. anything will help!

91 Elizabeth September 30, 2009 at 4:01 pm

I live in a dorm room–enough said!

92 Jess September 30, 2009 at 4:06 pm

Husband ? Check. Cat? Check. Dog? Check, check. I need these products – without Febreeze I think I’d run away πŸ˜‰ All their new stuff looks really neat and trendy too!

93 Kelli September 30, 2009 at 4:08 pm

How wonderful this all sounds! My ex left me reciently. I now have a dog (which was mine), 3 cats, a rat, a hamster and two great kiddos (mine as well) but boy they all seem to make a stink at once. Not complaining, because I am so happy to trade him in for all the critters (they are much sweeter anyhow). I love your blog by the way, it is a huge insperation to me.

94 Jennifer September 30, 2009 at 4:17 pm

I have two children under 3 (2 and a half and one and a half). I also have one dog and 3 indoor cats! Need I say more? πŸ˜‰

95 Melinda H. September 30, 2009 at 4:20 pm

This sounds like a great chance to freshen up my apartment since the cold weather here in Ohio has already started and the windows will rarely be open. πŸ™‚

96 Kara September 30, 2009 at 4:20 pm

I have a husband….nuff said πŸ™‚

97 Stepfanie September 30, 2009 at 4:24 pm

I need to win this because I have a brand-new apartment, which will have an in-home yoga studio. I need my place to smell calm and relaxing for all of my clients!

98 Ashley September 30, 2009 at 4:24 pm

I would love this! I’ve been seeing the commercials for the luminary, and really wanted to get one πŸ™‚ Main reason? My entire apartment smells like my pug! Somehow when dogs shed, the place smells even worse!

99 CATIEDIDIT September 30, 2009 at 4:24 pm

I have a roomie who smokes a lot of pot…to each his own I guess, but I’d rather have my own sweet thing to smell when she’s doing her thang…

100 Sarah September 30, 2009 at 4:25 pm

Two words: messy roommates. Three of them, to be exact. Febreze would save my life… or at least make my room in the house smell fresh enough to trick me into thinking the entire house isn’t a huge mess!

101 Allison R. September 30, 2009 at 4:25 pm

I was actually wanting to buy a new scent for my room, but if I could get one for FREE that would be even better πŸ™‚

102 Jessica September 30, 2009 at 4:25 pm

I have 1 dog & 2 cats who are very well potty trained, but I also worry about the pet odor in my place. Some Febreeze (for free!) would be awesome!

105 Anne Marie@ New Weigh of Life September 30, 2009 at 4:26 pm

111 Melissa September 30, 2009 at 4:31 pm

I’m the only chick in the house! πŸ™‚ There’s my husband, a 2 year old and a 4 month old… both boys, and both in diapers! I bet the green tea citrus scent is a lot better than a poopy diapee. HAHA! πŸ™‚

112 Kate September 30, 2009 at 4:32 pm

I got a smelly boyfriend!

113 Stephanie Rigdon September 30, 2009 at 4:32 pm

do i need to say more? πŸ™‚

114 Stina September 30, 2009 at 4:32 pm

We have two cats and I’m always paranoid about having a pet smell linger in our home – any help to clear away odors would be lovely πŸ™‚

115 Holly September 30, 2009 at 4:33 pm

Live next to a burial ground…I hope not! πŸ˜‰

I would love this because I just had a smelly roommate move out, and I’m paranoid that my house smells. I’ve scrubbed the place up and down, but a lil’ air freshner can’t hurt!

116 Robin September 30, 2009 at 4:35 pm

My running shoes make my house stink so I definitely need this.

Check out my blog for a cool running giveaway!

117 BethP September 30, 2009 at 4:35 pm

These would be perfect for our bedroom where Kitty lives!

118 gretchen September 30, 2009 at 4:36 pm

i would LOVE to win. my boyfriend’s an elite runner who feels compelled, after returning from 17 mile runs, to chill out before he showers on the couch…gross!

119 Runeatrepeat September 30, 2009 at 4:37 pm

The couch we got from Ben’s extended family smells like smoke. Bad.

120 Lindsay @ bananaandchocolate September 30, 2009 at 4:39 pm

122 Kate September 30, 2009 at 4:40 pm

I have seen these, they seem nice! I would love one because I have to share a bathroom with my stinky brother, so I would put all of these products there!

123 Cathy September 30, 2009 at 4:41 pm

My roommate and I try to keep our on campus apartment as clean as possible to help reduce law school stress, but it’s an old communal living place and we are constantly trying to mask it with candles /fans etc. This would be great!

124 Jamie September 30, 2009 at 4:41 pm

I’d love to win b/c I have not one but TWO dogs in the house and one is a puppy. we are constantly de-doggifying the house.

125 Hannah Hawley September 30, 2009 at 4:43 pm

My boyfriend just quit smoking! Woohoo! He has been 7 weeks smoke free but the apartment still smells like smoke even though he never smoked inside. We have done our laundry but it has permiated the carpet and beds and know it will disipate with time, but this would help immensly!

126 Kristen September 30, 2009 at 4:45 pm

I don’t have a pet in my home (yet), but I do have a lot of smelly workout clothes in my small apartment!

127 Tiffany P September 30, 2009 at 4:45 pm

I just feel more comfy when my bedroom smells nice. Its quite a large space so just a simple candle really doesn’t do the job!

128 soup September 30, 2009 at 4:47 pm

I love febreeze products and I cook a lot so am always on the lookout for new products to mask odors.

129 Justine September 30, 2009 at 4:48 pm

I most definitely need this!! I currently have 7 (yes 7!) animals living at my house! I have 2 doggies and 3 cats of my own (major animal lover), but I also care for my Dad’s 2 dogs right now as well!
I could realllllllly use some help keeping the house fresh!
Thanks for all you do with your blog… You are an inspiration! πŸ™‚

130 Danielle September 30, 2009 at 4:48 pm

A reason I need some sweet smelling stuff for the home? I live with a boy isn’t that reason enough?
I’m kidding he doesn’t smell bad but his dirty laundry does lol.

131 niecy September 30, 2009 at 4:49 pm

I love walking into a fresh-smelling apartment! πŸ™‚ Thanks for this offer!

132 Leah September 30, 2009 at 4:49 pm

My house always smells like Onion. Kath would hate it! haha. 90% of the dinners I cook have mass quantities of onion and garlic and spices and I love the smell when I am cooking but coming down for breakfast the next day, I don’t like the lingering odors!

133 mkg September 30, 2009 at 4:50 pm

I’ve wanted to try this since i saw the commercial πŸ™‚

134 christina September 30, 2009 at 4:50 pm

my apt is an older apt so i would love the febreze to get rid of some of the smell (plus, i just love Febreze products!! :))

135 Jessica September 30, 2009 at 4:50 pm

I NEED this for my husband. Especially under the covers at night. Ugh!

136 Lauren September 30, 2009 at 4:51 pm

I just moved back into my parents house this summer after being away at college for four years. At school we always had random candles and such lit, but my parents aren’t into that kind of thing! I’d love to win to purchase the collection for my bedroom!

137 Kristen September 30, 2009 at 4:52 pm

I need need need this!!!! My boyfriend has been smoking inside for over two years, and just quit (yippee!) one month ago today. Unfortunately, the awful smell of cigarette smoke still lingers, and I have been wanting to purchase some nice smelling fragrance for the house since then. The dollar air fresheners just aren’t doing it. Would LOVE this!!!! πŸ™‚

138 Jessica September 30, 2009 at 4:52 pm

There are three people of the male species that live in my house. Nuff said πŸ™‚

139 Brooke September 30, 2009 at 4:52 pm

I would love to have these. These products would really freshen up my home. Thanks.

140 Kathleen September 30, 2009 at 4:54 pm

Ugh, I love my roomie, but she is SUCH a slob. HELP!

Definitely in need!! We have two dogs in the house – one who throws up constantly! πŸ™‚

142 runningmind September 30, 2009 at 4:56 pm

I need to win this because I live with two guys and three dogs. Everyone knows boys are smelly. Oh, and the one guy has this discusting dog who he doesn’t bathe, yet lets roam in the creek and roll in the dirt. Yeah, I’ve already given him several lectures on this. Poor smelly dog, and my poor sensitve nose.

143 Megan September 30, 2009 at 4:58 pm

I think I”M the smelly one!!! My used running clothes in my MINI room in my aparetment is NOT a good combination!!

144 Melissa September 30, 2009 at 4:58 pm

Um yeah……2 yr old boxer puppy, a cat that throws up nightly, and a 30-year old husband…need I say more?? LOL

I too always come in and know that my house smells like I’m a pet owner πŸ™ I am desperately in need of a nice smelling house! SAVE ME!!!!!!!! πŸ™‚

145 Aimee September 30, 2009 at 4:59 pm

I live with an adorable, loving but not yet potty trained toddler. Although the little potty sits just a few feet away my son seems to always have to tinkle on the one and only area rug in the house. It’s as though he is frozen in the spot and can’t make a break for the potty. Of course there are still stinky diapers to contend with. Love Febreze!!!

146 Kirsten September 30, 2009 at 5:01 pm

I think all of those products look fun to try! I don’t have a smelly apartment or live close to anything smelly, but Im obsessed with candels, reed diffusers, everything, so I would love to give this a try too! =)

147 Jill September 30, 2009 at 5:04 pm

I have 3 cats, a dog AND a husband. Do I need to say more?

148 Erica September 30, 2009 at 5:07 pm

Hey Meghann! I think your leftovers look yummy! I have a very stinky bulldog- I could totally use this product! Please help πŸ˜‰

149 luckytastebuds September 30, 2009 at 5:07 pm

Hollaaaa smelly Asian stir-fry!!! As someone who cooks in her kitchen almost every night, I have a line up of pungent Asian sauces that truly STINK UP my entire apartment for hours upon hours after I’ve finished cooking!! I keep the windows open when I leave for work in the morning, but I come back to the same smell of stir-fry. I’ve tried EVERYTHING and spend a buttload on air-refreshseners, but this might be my permanent solution!!! Pick mee!!!! πŸ™‚

150 Missy (Missy Maintains) September 30, 2009 at 5:10 pm

I would love to win because I just got a kitten so I am going to need something to cover up the kitty litter smell!

151 Ashley September 30, 2009 at 5:14 pm

My roomate has really raunchy running shoes…ahhh! I need this please : )

152 Lauren September 30, 2009 at 5:14 pm

154 Karissa September 30, 2009 at 5:15 pm

I have a dog that feels the needs to dig in the dirt, burrow through every bush, and even rolls in poop sometimes! I love the little guy, but he tracks in a lot!

155 Sarah R September 30, 2009 at 5:19 pm

How about two smelly dogs and a smelly husband?!

156 Mary September 30, 2009 at 5:20 pm

157 Rachel September 30, 2009 at 5:20 pm

I would love to win this! I love a pretty smelling house, and my doggie doesn’t always smell so pretty!

158 Sara September 30, 2009 at 5:23 pm

I am in DESPERATE need… we have a puppy as well; and while he is potty trained, he has serious spraying issues when he gets overly excited… which is ALLTHE TIME!

159 Evan Thomas September 30, 2009 at 5:24 pm

We have a dog back at home and my mom would love this

160 Suzanne September 30, 2009 at 5:25 pm

mmmm. I love scented candles. I have stinky cat, and I also saute veggies in balsamic vinegar every am: tastes great but smells funky!

161 Jenn September 30, 2009 at 5:26 pm

I have a dog and a cat and a husband – that sums it all up right there as to why I need the Febreze Home Collection!! πŸ™‚

162 Jenny September 30, 2009 at 5:28 pm

Basically, I need it because my husband and I are kind of slobs. =) We’re trying to get better at taking out the trash, but sometimes the kitchen kind of gets a funk. Pretty smelling candles would go a long way!

163 Ashley September 30, 2009 at 5:28 pm

I have a guinea pig, who is surprisingly stinklyfor his small frame! I’d love to have my apartment smell of febreeze!

164 Kristen September 30, 2009 at 5:29 pm

Unfortunately my roommates and I were given a dud apartment and our bedroom smells like mildew…the home collection would be perfect for our problems, especially as poor college students haha πŸ™‚

165 Melissa September 30, 2009 at 5:29 pm

Thanks for the giveaway!!

I’d love the Febreeze collection, I am a waitress and I often come home with uniforms and work shoes that smell like grease and food… ew! I would love to have the opportunity to give this collection a try!

I’m crossing my fingers!

166 paige September 30, 2009 at 5:33 pm

I’m from Minnesota, so now that the air is getting cooler outside it is going to get harder to “air out” the house during my indoor workout sessions. The Febreze Home Collection would keep my sweaty scents under control without sacrificing the warm air in my home. I can’t wait to try the new products!

167 Kelley September 30, 2009 at 5:40 pm

My kitchen is in the same area as my living room, so when my dishes/trash stinks, my whole place stinks! I could use a little freshness in my condo.

Great Giveaway!! Thanks!

168 Shannon September 30, 2009 at 5:43 pm

omg! You have a ton of readers that want the febreeze. I’ll try anyway…

I got married last November and not only got a husband but his TWO little frou frou dogs (chihuahua and maltese) who every once in a while do their thang on my carpet. I freak and clean like a mad person, but since I’ve never had inside dogs before now, I swear my house just smells weird.

Now that I’ve admitted that on your blog comments (lol), I think leftovers are the best (another thing I’ve learned since getting married)!

169 Beth H. September 30, 2009 at 5:46 pm

I have the most sensitive nose ever and I can smell anything from a mile away! We live in a college town and of course attend all the football games. However, so do all of my fiance’s friends, and guess where they stay? Our house. I like the house to smell good when they arrive, but I also like the house to smell nice once 10 stinky guys leave after a night of partying! Please help my house and my nose:)

170 Spotty Prep September 30, 2009 at 5:48 pm

I would use the Febreeze collection for my office. I work right by the kitchen and smell whatever anyone is cooking! It can be kinda gross, especially when one person microwaves bacon in the morning! Ugh!

171 verbalriot September 30, 2009 at 5:49 pm

I just got a cat, who poops more than any creature I’ve ever met. I need all the reinforcement I can get!

172 Marie September 30, 2009 at 5:50 pm

I’m in college with three other roommates in a few tight apartment! Roommates + boyfriends + friends + fighting over whose turn it is to take out the trash = Febreze is needed!

173 Marie September 30, 2009 at 5:51 pm

opps, meant to say very tight apt!

174 AnAppleADay September 30, 2009 at 5:53 pm

i would love these because i love cleaning. fresh smell is the best!

175 Christie September 30, 2009 at 5:56 pm

I ned this because I have TWO doggies. We recently took up our carpet and laid down laminate floor but I think this would help even more!

176 lowandbhold September 30, 2009 at 5:56 pm

I need this because I have a stinky coworker. He knows it too, he says its the food his wife cooks but it’s BAD!

177 C. September 30, 2009 at 5:59 pm

i NEED those cause I live with a mini zoo!! (well 2 cats and a dog that pottys inside..grr!!) plus i have roommate + friends that are not clean AND don’t care… Oh and i live off of an alley.. that sometimes smells like a boys bathroom… ewww!!!

178 rachel September 30, 2009 at 5:59 pm

I’m a student, and I live in some old apartments near campus. My apartment always smells so bad (not my fault)!!! My boyfriend always comments on it when he comes over… embarrassing!!!

179 Stef Simon September 30, 2009 at 6:00 pm

Would love to try this because like you I have a dog and if he gets wet from going out in the rain or after a run he gets stinky. My dog is a lot bigger he is a German Shepard/ grey hound mix.

180 cbinkc September 30, 2009 at 6:01 pm

I’m always looking for good smelling stuff to use in my house. Our biggest problem is the combined 22 pounds of Maestro and Mini our two black cats!

181 Sabrina September 30, 2009 at 6:01 pm

I would love to try on the new Febreze products. I really like their commercials. I have a dog, a husband and one smelly tortoise. The dog and husband aren’t bad but I tell you Clyde (the tortoise) is stinky! I give him baths every other day but it doesn’t help much. Often times I ask close friends when they come over if my house smells. They always say no but I wonder if they are just being polite. There is no way I’m getting rid of Clyde so I need to find something to cover up his stench.

182 J. September 30, 2009 at 6:12 pm

I have a smelly husband who has very smelly hockey equipment sitting in our apartment! Ewww! I need Febreze please!

183 Beth September 30, 2009 at 6:13 pm

I live in a dorm and no matter what I do, I can never get rid of the musty smell. I love febreeze products and can’t wait to try these!

184 faith in food September 30, 2009 at 6:16 pm

i recently moved to a new apartment and my sink plugged and overflowed…the theory is that the previous owner was a very hairy tenant and plugged the drain….EWWWWW!!! i havent been able to get rid of the funky smell :/

185 Meagan September 30, 2009 at 6:17 pm

I, too, love to light a candle after I make a meal because if I smell the food that I just ate, no matter how delicious smelling it was 45 minutes ago, it grosses me out!

186 Kyo September 30, 2009 at 6:17 pm

I live in an indian burial ground! There’s an indian theme to the living room anyway… My fiance and I are staying with his parents and his mom seems to really like the Febreeze sprays so I think she would like these and I like things that smell nice. πŸ™‚

I’d also like to not smell the food people cook hours later… they eat sausage.

187 Courtney September 30, 2009 at 6:23 pm

I need this because my neighbors are smokers and I am having trouble choosing between keeping my windows open for the lovely fall weather or blocking out the slight scent of nasty cigarettes.. yuck! I’m hoping that a couple light products like these would help!!

188 loveprevails September 30, 2009 at 6:24 pm

I living in a college dorm, apartment style. Aka: 50+ ppl in one room on the weekends, old trash sitting too long, spilled beers on the floors, the fact that 4 people live in a 2 bedroom apartment that has a total of 6 rooms including the bathroom…
Enough said, we need ORDOR CONTROL asap!! lol

189 Caitlin September 30, 2009 at 6:24 pm

I would love the febreeze because I want my apartment to smell EVEN better! πŸ™‚

190 Sara September 30, 2009 at 6:39 pm

Great review! I love Febreeze products. I’m a big fan of the fabric odor nuetralizer. With a doggie, it’s a must!

191 Jenna September 30, 2009 at 6:42 pm

i would love to try this product because me and my roommate are both athletes and we keep all of our gear in our room and it stinksss! so i think the febreze will be a lovely addition to our dorm room πŸ™‚

192 Robyn September 30, 2009 at 6:43 pm

I feel your pain with the puppy training. My Yorkie is almost 3 and he still hasn’t 100% caught on to the concept of the bathroom is outside not inside yet. That being said, I’d love the Febreeze products to help my tiny condo smell fresh!

193 Kristin September 30, 2009 at 6:45 pm

I live in an old apartment building and my apartment just never smells quite right. I guess it’s not fresh or something. Would love some Febreeze to spray on the carpet and scent the air!

194 Kyra September 30, 2009 at 6:48 pm

Ever since I moved in my apartment, it hasn’t smelled quite right – like something died in here. I would love to try this out and see if it does the rick:) Thanks!

195 hemp jogger September 30, 2009 at 6:49 pm

I’m moving into a new apartment…and one never knows who lived there prior. I know they do a good job cleaning and all, but perhaps not totally up to par. I’d like to welcome adulthood w/ a yummy scent!

196 Kyra September 30, 2009 at 6:49 pm

…does the TRICK! rick… ha πŸ™‚

197 Susan September 30, 2009 at 6:59 pm

Thanks for the great review Meghann!!! I would loooove some febreze. I just moved into a basement apartment previously occupied by a boy college student. I need to get a fresh girly scent happening in here! πŸ™‚

198 Matt September 30, 2009 at 7:04 pm

My neighbors trash has been sitting in the alley between our apartments for about two weeks. It smells disgusting!

199 Jacqueline September 30, 2009 at 7:06 pm

The only reason I “need” this is simply because I am addicted to candles and scents. I just love them!
Thank you for the giveaway!

200 Ilene September 30, 2009 at 7:18 pm

I love fresh scents, and for some reason our family’s fresh out of air fresheners! πŸ™

201 Erin September 30, 2009 at 7:22 pm

I have both a smelly husband and smelly cats (one of which is having some bladder issues, oy.)

202 Tyly September 30, 2009 at 7:26 pm

I need this because I have both a dog and a cat! Not to mention a smelly high school coach fiancee!

203 Danielle September 30, 2009 at 7:27 pm

I have two beast-like Black Labradors that constantly get ear infections (let me tell you, it does not smell pretty in any sense of the word), a teenage brother (who on the weekend declares that he’s trying to conserve water – ew?) and a step-father who’s a mechanic (after a hard day at work you really don’t want to smell the funk coming off those feet).

204 Sally September 30, 2009 at 7:28 pm

I have a stinky roommate. Not a little bit stinky, not unpleasant; homeboy is straight up malodorous (and its not a medical condition, I made sure so I didn’t feel mean.) So, I feel like I could really benefit from this giveaway. I would spray that shiz right on the laundry pile.

205 mel September 30, 2009 at 7:32 pm

pick me! I am a newly wed of two months and my hubby’s shoes STINK! I need some febreeze!!

212 sue September 30, 2009 at 7:56 pm

small apartment + smelly boyfriend…i need febreeze!

213 Tiffany September 30, 2009 at 7:56 pm

My family creates a lot of perishable garbage [banana peels, bones, etc.] that we usually put into plastic bags and tie them up to store because our garbage is collected once a week. However, the smell continues to permeate the bags and stink up the house and the garage when we move them there! YUCK! Febreeze would be lovely to try on that smell!

214 Danielle J September 30, 2009 at 7:57 pm

Wonderful non-food related giveaway! The guy down the hall from my apartment smokes (even though smoking isn’t allowed) and it constantly wafts down the hall and into my place, gross!

215 Fancy September 30, 2009 at 8:00 pm

My studio condo is on the market…I REALLY need to sell it before the wedding so my future 6 foot 3 inch husband and I can buy a house because he literally doesn’t fit here ….and my realtor says it currently smells too much like “a girl” in here! A nice, fresh smell just might be all it will take to change my entire life for the better πŸ˜‰

216 starsinthecity September 30, 2009 at 8:03 pm

I would love to win because pretty, good-smelling things make me happy! I’d love to come home or walk into a room and have it smell great.

I need febreeze!!

219 huskerrunner September 30, 2009 at 8:29 pm

221 MeredithLeigh September 30, 2009 at 8:34 pm

225 Ris September 30, 2009 at 8:59 pm

The chickpea burger looks great!
I need it b/c I live in a dorm, next to 2 Rugby Players who leave their equipment in the hall (and hate doing laundry so much they try to bribe me to do it!) so whenever we open our door we are wafted with the smell of boy sweat .. .grossness

226 Brooks September 30, 2009 at 8:59 pm

These products would hopefully work at masking the smell of the zoo at my house – I’ve got 2 cats and 2 dogs!

227 Christina September 30, 2009 at 8:59 pm

5 girls age 6 and under, 3 cats and a husband who loves baseball, golf and tennis…enough said!!

228 foodieinthecity September 30, 2009 at 9:03 pm

Thanks for the review Meghann!! I am going to desperately need the home collection in my life because we are probably getting a little puppy ourselves in about a month!

229 Nicci@NiftyEats September 30, 2009 at 9:05 pm

I’d love to have some new sprays for my apartment. The spray I’ve been using has lost it’s scent and will not last:( more than 30 minutes.

230 Donna September 30, 2009 at 9:06 pm

I have 2 cats and they’re litter box area could definitely use some fresh scents!

231 ashley September 30, 2009 at 9:15 pm

i too have a new puppy smell filled apartment, and those luminaries are too cute!

232 Liz September 30, 2009 at 9:16 pm

My boyfriend and I love to do bikram yoga but our mats, etc. are really stinking up our apartment!

233 Laura E September 30, 2009 at 9:22 pm

Thanks so much for the opportunity! I really love lighting candles, especially when it gets cold out. My roomate also just got another kitten so we have a lot of cat smells, such as the food and litter pebbles, around our house.

234 Sarah September 30, 2009 at 9:26 pm

Oh my goodness do I need some good air freshening products. I have two dogs and three roomates…ALL BOYS!!!!!!!

235 Katie R September 30, 2009 at 9:29 pm

I’d love to win this to make my home smell nice. Maybe I could find a signature scent πŸ™‚

236 Breanne September 30, 2009 at 9:30 pm

I want it just because I love a nice smelling fragrance in my house! It puts me in a good mood!

237 Annie September 30, 2009 at 9:34 pm

Ooooh I love these! And i have stinky roomates πŸ™

238 Morgan September 30, 2009 at 9:45 pm

Volunteering coaching a swim team means the smell of chlorine is everywhere now!

239 Meg @ Be Fit Be Full September 30, 2009 at 9:45 pm

I have a 10 month old puppy who rolls around in dirty dog park daily and smells like dog slobber afterwards! So I could definitely use the Febreze πŸ™‚

240 Aimee September 30, 2009 at 9:47 pm

I just love my house smelling nice. I buy more candles than I would like to admit.

241 Jenn September 30, 2009 at 9:52 pm

I have a stinky dog and cat. I feel less stressed when my house smells nice.

242 Hillary September 30, 2009 at 9:53 pm

I would love this because I as a 5th grade teacher,no matter how many times you have the “our bodies are chaging” and “you all need to make deoderant part of your daily habits” talk there are still some you don’t get through to.

The Febreze Pack would be so helpful to keep my classroom fresh!

243 Meg September 30, 2009 at 10:07 pm

Leftovers are perfect when they’re something as delicious as that – I may have to recreate those chickpea burgers πŸ™‚

I would love this, I have my own apartment at college, and since I’m constantly cooking breakfast/dinner/etc, my apartment has a range of smells, and some just aren’t very inviting!

Happy Wednesday!

244 Tobi September 30, 2009 at 10:07 pm

2 boys,a husband and a male dog……..need I say more?????

245 Ann-Margaret September 30, 2009 at 10:13 pm

I do have a kitty, but I think my husband is smellier!

246 Katie F September 30, 2009 at 10:22 pm

I need this bc I’ve recently moved back in with the parents and am sharing the upstairs with my 18-year-old brother–’nuff said?? Just opening the door to get up there is terrible!

247 Simply Fabulous September 30, 2009 at 10:22 pm

I have an adorable cat, Stuart, but he can be a tad bit stinky!

248 onmyplate September 30, 2009 at 10:32 pm

great review! i’d love to try the febreze collection. i’ve got a small house and a cat…definitely could use some freshening in the air. πŸ™‚

249 Brittany September 30, 2009 at 10:41 pm

I would love to be able to Febreze the smell of my stinky boyfriend out of my house!!!

250 Allie (Live Laugh Eat) September 30, 2009 at 10:41 pm

I would LOVE to get Febreze Home Collection because well, I live in a college apartment. Enough said?? Plus we don’t have a laundry room so my smelly gym clothes live in my room and the smell travels out of the hamper!!

251 Kate September 30, 2009 at 10:51 pm

I have a really sensitive nose and I live with three men and three dogs and a cat in this house that sometimes overwhelms me with its….musk. This would help me immensely to get the house fresh and clean!

252 Kelsey September 30, 2009 at 10:53 pm

my house is full of three cats and two dogs!!!

253 Kayla September 30, 2009 at 11:11 pm

I have the same issues with my place smelling like a dog!

254 Isha September 30, 2009 at 11:26 pm

Oh man, my whole (tiny) apartment smells like a mix between kitty litter and quiche. I need this stuff!

255 Amy September 30, 2009 at 11:27 pm

I have five cats that I call my Furbabies. I love them!! I started out with one kitty. We got her fixed and then proceeded to go out and she “adopted” a stray who we later kept. By that time our new kitty was very pregnant with 7 kittens! I kept three of the babies, which took some convincing for the hubby, but now we have a cat family of 5 stink bombs. How they can smell so good when you hug them and sniff their fur, but make a house smell SO BAD, I’ll never know. I think some Febreeze could most definitely come in handy!

256 mariewould September 30, 2009 at 11:44 pm

omgoodness i love smelly stuff! i live in a tiny box/studio with NO VENTILATION so anytime anything makes a smell (last night’s tuna casserole, trash can, bathroom, smelly boyfriend, sweaty me) it smells this box up FAST! i would love to try out the collection to fill my nostrils/mask the smell circus!

257 Tay September 30, 2009 at 11:49 pm

My roommates never wipe down the kitchen and that sink is startin’ to smell!! hehe

258 Serena October 1, 2009 at 12:03 am

I have 2 dogs and a cat. I need all the help I can get! πŸ™‚

259 Rachel October 1, 2009 at 12:09 am

I need it because I’m a full time student and after a long day of class and studying, I need a quick clean refreshing scent to relax me in my apartment without having to scrub the place down.

260 broccolihut October 1, 2009 at 12:27 am

Is Maddie asleep sitting up in that picture?? My JRT Fred does that ALL the time:)

261 postcollegecook October 1, 2009 at 12:51 am

My room could use some Febreze because of all my sweaty running clothes sitting in the hamper!

262 bobbi October 1, 2009 at 1:03 am

I have a man and a dog eough said! I have been really wanting to try one of these!

263 *Andrea* October 1, 2009 at 1:03 am

one of my roommates does laundry like every 3 weeks and it stinks up our dorm room πŸ™

264 Liz October 1, 2009 at 2:40 am

I have 2 dogs and 3 cats, need I say more?!?!?!?

265 Tina October 1, 2009 at 6:24 am

We have a cat – it is soooo hard to get animal smell out of the air!!!!

266 Ally October 1, 2009 at 7:20 am

I am a teacher and I would love to use these in my classroom! It doesn’t smell to great in there. Especially after recess….

267 Paige October 1, 2009 at 7:41 am

I have a 120 pound Chocolate Lab who stays inside…Enough said! πŸ™‚

268 Emily October 1, 2009 at 8:01 am

I live in a small house with my husband, 5 year old, 2 year old, and 85 lb. dog. I have a very sensitive nose, love good scents, and would love to try these products.

269 Robin October 1, 2009 at 8:44 am

We have two dogs and a cat, we really need this!

270 Sara October 1, 2009 at 8:53 am

My two cats make this a necessity!

271 Caroline October 1, 2009 at 9:49 am

I have two dogs and my roommate has a cat who’s box can rather stink up the upstairs hallway. For spot cleaning I love Woolite’s pet carpet spray. It’s not natural but it works really well, even for red wine spills or, say, blood (long story, just trust me on this one) and has a pleasant scent.

272 Lauren October 1, 2009 at 12:04 pm

I have the same exact problem you have, Meghann! Our puppy is more or less housebroken, but has the occasionally accident. Coupled with a fur-ball prone cat (we’ve tried EVERYTHING, and brush him twice a day), our apartment can sometimes smell less than stellar. I’m obsessed with Febreze and with the Glade scented candles, and would welcome the opportunity to try any similar products! They are a miracle πŸ™‚

273 christina October 1, 2009 at 1:05 pm

Sometimes you just need more than the simple smell of clean, and nothing looks cooler than a diffuser!

274 Laura October 1, 2009 at 4:52 pm

I would love the new home collection to cover the smell of my boyfriend who just moved in with me πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

275 Mary October 1, 2009 at 9:11 pm

Awesome! I love good smelling stuff πŸ™‚ I just recently got an adorable little kitty but unfortunately as I’m a college student without much apartment space, her littler box has to stay in my bedroom. Which = a stinky bedroom. I’ve tried candles, fans, air sprays, but so far nothing has worked that well! I’d love to try some of these πŸ™‚

276 Jeri October 2, 2009 at 10:23 am

I can smell the people next door smoking on their patio. Yuck. Would love to be able to cancel out that smell. πŸ™
