After such an eventful, exciting morning, I have been taking it easy while casually enjoying what remained of my Saturday.
Abbie had been trapped in the apartment all morning, so Derek and I thought it would be nice to take her for a 2 mile walk around Lake Baldwin.
She was a trooper and actually held her won the whole walk, I didn’t have to carry her once!
Before the walk I enjoyed one of Melissa’s Pumpkin Muffins
It was so rich and full of wonderful pumpkin flavor, I think I even tasted a bit of ginger in it? Yummy!
The great thing about Baldwin Park, and I know I’ve said this multiple time before, but is it’s pet friendly atmosphere. After the walk around the lake we headed down the main steer to Seito Sushi for some great Sushi.
The weather was absolutely perfect so we grabbed a table outside and Abbie aided me in decided what to order.
I started with my fave, Miso Soup.
And ordered two rolls of Brown Rice Sushi.
The roll near the top is the Spicy Octupus Roll and the bottom is their Bonzai Roll which Contains Tuna/ Shrimp/ Avocado/ Scallion/ Cucumber / Masago outside.
Both rolls were delish and I happily cleaned my plate.
After dinner Coldstone was in walking distance so we had to sneak inside for a cold treat.
I had a small Tart & Tangy Strawberry with Blueberries. I was actually a little disappointed by how icy it was.
I am exhausted and ready to call it an early night. We’re watching Slumdog Millionaire and I am just hoping I can stay awake enough to watch the end.
Good Night!
