Good morning all my blog lovelies. I am happy to report that Caitlin’s wedding was a complete success. That’s right SeeBrideRun is now a bride and is currently on a plane to Napa Valley!
Caitlin and I have been insperatable since we met back in September. She is truly one of my best friends and to see her get married brought tears to my eyes. The whole wedding was so personal and so them. I felt honored to be able to witness the moment and only wish the two of them nothing but a lifetime of happiness!
Yesterday, I was actually so excited for the wedding that I arrived a few..well.. forty five minutes early. I ran into a member of the wedding party who led me downstairs where I happened to bump into the bridesmaids on the way to take photos. Caitlin’s Mom saw me and invited me along to watch some pictures being taken. So I tagged along and caught a glimpse of the beautiful blushing bride for the first time.
I have never seen a more beautiful bride.
I stuck around and witnessed more of the before hand pictures. Don’t worry the bride and groom did not see each other before the wedding.
After the photos I walked to the ceremony location where I ran into Jenna! Whom I hadn’t seen since she moved form Orlando back in October!
It was a beautiful ceremony that had be weapy as both bride and groom were in tears.
Both of Caitlin’s parents walked her down the aisle.
“All You Need is Love” by the Beatles played as they announced the New Mr. and Mrs.
After the ceremony we headed to the veranda for cocktail hour as the wedding party posed for more photos.
The Bride and Groom had their signature cocktails.
I had a glass of the Bride’s Coconut Breeze, which tasted like Sprite and Malibu.
I tried a sample of the Groom’s Key Lime Pie but was not a fan. They also had a lovely display of Fruit, Cheese and Crackers.
My Plate.
I was caught snapping a photo of my plate by another guest who admitted he recognized me from Caitlin’s blog….lol
I also nibbled on two Hor Devours
The weather was perfect for the wedding and outside cocktail hour. Jenna and I snapped some photos of the gorgeous scenery in the background.
I also got to meet Jenna’s Ryan for the first time yesterday. He really is a great guy and they are so perfectly cute together.
After cocktails we headed inside for the reception. Caitlin sat Jenna and I together at the London table, or as she likes to call it the cool table. π We had great company with friends of both the bride and groom.
The wedding party was introduced to the Rocky Theme song and the bride and groom went immediately to their first dance.
They were both grinning ear to ear with eyes only for each other.
The Champage toasts. The wedding party consisted of two best men and a maid and matron of honor.
When our table was called for food, Jenna and I were in the restroom so I was sans camera when I went through the buffet. They did have a very beauitful set up with tons of tasty options. I loaded my plate with a little bit of everything and enjoyed every bite of it.
The reception had an open bar so I freely enjoyed a couple of glasses of red wine throughout the evening.
Father- Daughter Dance and Mother -Son Dance.
Caitlin’s aunt made the beautiful cake for the reception. The same aunt had made Caitlin’s parents’ cake for their wedding many years ago.
I had a slice of the chocolate cake with raspberry filling. Yummy!
Garter Belt Fun!
Try as we might Jenna and I were unsuccessful at catching the boquet!
We partied hard the rest of the reception and had so much fun. I danced and danced and dance! Jenna and I literally spent the whole time on the dance floor grooving to old cheesy songs that everyone always knows all the words to.:)
Before we knew the party was over and it was time to say good bye to the bride and groom as they had an early flight to catch in the morning! They took the limo straight to the hotel at the airport! How romantic!
Some of us weren’t quite ready for the party to be over, so we headed downtown to keep dancing and partying it up. We ended up at Vintage, where a couple of groomsmen pulled some cash together for bottles that landed us in the VIP section.
I was planning on driving home in a couple of hours so I stuck to water the rest of the night. I did keep dancing though! I had soo much fun being goofy and just breaking it down with everyone.
I even found a cute boy who was willing to keep up with me the whole time on the dance floor.
I promised him a shout out on the blog! Apparently he is a fan…lol…
Around 1:30 my feet started to ache so I called it a night. I had so much fun though, I’m just sad that no one I met were from the orlando area…bummer… it was fun while it lasted though.
This was seriously one of the best weddings I have ever attended and I wish nothing but love and happiness for the future of Caitlin and Kristien. They truly are an amazing couple!
