and waiting…. and waiting…. and waiting for the person to call and let me know my fridge is being delivered.

I was not given any specific time frame for the delivery, so now I am on the edge of my seat waiting for the phone to ring. I have no meetings scheduled and my work load is light so I can leave at the drop of a hat when he calls.Depending on what time he calls I might just call it quits for the day, so here’s crossing my fingers he calls at 3:30 so I have an excuse to leave and stay at home. 🙂

With the expectation of using my lunch hour to run home at the time of delivery, I ate at my desk during my regular lunch time.

I had limited choices this morning on what to take so I went with easy. I had leftover 15 Bean Soup, Kashi Crackers & a small Apple.

The soup doesn’t make the prettiest left overs but I swear It’s still very yummy. The soup gets very thick over night so I added some water to it before I heated it back up to thin it out a bit. I made this soup for my Ex last winter/spring and I’ll never forget how he told me he enjoyed the left overs at first, but after a few bites he felt like he was eating refried beans and gave up…lol…. he didn’t add the extra water. 🙂

This morning I had an Honest Foods Cranberry Lemon Zest square that Lindsay had sent my way.

I put it in the microwave for 30 secs so it would be soft and gooey. The square was ok. I think they took the lemon taste a little too bar. I ate about 3/4 of it before I realized it wasn’t worth it to eat the rest and chucked it.

I tried to get a picture of the ingredient list because I found it interesting for how overpowering the lemon flavor was, lemon was not labeled on the ingredient label once.

I wonder if they just clunked it together with the ‘natural flavorings’ ingredient in the list?

Many of you may not know this, but the blog you are reading today was not my first attempt at food blogging. Way back in April, I decided to try out a food blog, but gave up after only a couple of entries. I forgot all about it, then I was bored yesterday and decided to see if it even still existed. I found it and got a good laugh out of it. I thought most of my readers would find it amusing as well to compare now and then. If you’re interested for a quick read (there’s only about 4 entries) then please head over to my first attempt at blogging. 🙂

Hope they call soon! What made you stick with the blogging this time around?

Ashley – This time around I had a lot more support then before. I had also been reading blogs for a while longer and understood more what makes a great blog versus a not so great one. 🙂

And it’s not very “honest” of them to label the bar as lemon zest when it’s not listed!
