Pile On The Miles

by Meghann on November 30, 2008

Today’s marks the end of Bobbi’s Pile On the Miles Challenge and I am happy to say I finished strong with a 6.46 mile run this morning.

Here’s a recap of all of my runs since the Challenge’s Conception on Nov. 8.

11/8 – 5 Miles (Run with Sis)

11/9 – 6.2 Miles (Celebration 10k)

11/11 – 4.25 Miles

11/12 – 5 Miles

11/14 – 5.77 Miles

11/15 – 7.83 Miles (Run with Sis at FSU)

11/16 – 5 Miles (Solo FSU run)

11/19 – 5 Miles

11/20 – 2 Miles (Boot Camp Warm Up)

11/21 – 5.1 Miles

11/23 – 10 Miles (ORC)

11/24 – 5.13 Miles

11/25 – 5.4 Miles

11/26 – 2 Miles (Boot Camp Warm Up)

11/27 – 11.1 Miles (Thanksgiving)

11/29 – 3.5 Miles

Today – 6.46 Miles

So all of that brings my grand total to 94.74 Miles!

I hope that’s enough to win some of the goodie Bobbi has been bragging about this week. I’m crossing my fingers! I am also glad this little challenge feel during the month before my Half Marathon so I had double motivation to Pile on the Miles. 🙂

My Dad made his famous Sausage Gravy for breakfast this morning. I snacked on a Sausage Patty while I watched him cook, but never got a picture of it.

Here’s my plate.

I had a biscuit with about a 1/4 cup of gravy.

And a slice d Granny Smith Apple on the side.

As great as it had been to be at home with my family, I am looking forward to driving back to my apartment today, cooking for myself and having control of the TV again (currently my Twin Bro is watching SportsCenter.. Urghh..)

Safe travels to everyone today returning back to their lives as well! See you tonight.

Oh, I love biscuits and gravy! I suck at making it though!

The only thing I’ll be glad to be over this weekend is football! With our local high school playoffs, college games AND NFL games today, its been football mania at my house!

Have a safe trip home!
