I am the worst when it comes to texting! I just checked my phone and saw a text I meant to send a couple of hours ago was still waiting for me to press send. I’m sure my friend right now is wondering what I was sending “Great!” for, especially since I can barely remember. Honestly this is not the first time this has happened. There have been plenty of times when I have picked up my phone and saw a text I was sending earlier was still in edit mode. Oooppss…. I need to be better at making sure messages go through, rather then just dropping the phone and assuming my task has been completed. J
Besides my texting failure, this morning had been pretty busy at work. Actually this whole week has been relatively busy and will continue to do so until Thanksgiving. Hopefully, it will calm down in time for me to relax for the rest of the Holidays. (Fingers Crossed) I know once these trainings are over a HUGE task will be lifted from my overflowing to do list. Yay!
My midmorning snack today consisted of a pack of Almonds and Reduced Fat String Cheese.
I love the combination of Almonds and Cheese. I actually pull pieces of the string cheese and wrap it around the little almonds. Yum.
Lunch today was semi-inspired by Caitlin’s dinner post last night. I was intrigued by her Alfalfa Sprouts in her Grilled Cheese so I decided to have the combination myself today.
To make the sandwich I used my very last piece (the butt) of my Dave’s Killer Bread, which I got all the way back at the beginning of October for winning my first BSI competition. Umm.. yeah… I’m only one person and it really takes me that long to eat a whole loaf of bread! The bread was also amazing and I wanted to savor every bite. I am actually pretty sad that it’s all gone! If I had the extra $$ to spend on bread I would so be ordering some more from the website, but sadly I am poor so I guess its back to plain ole bread for me. So sad…
With my lovely sandwich I had a small salad of Spinach, Tomato, Cucumber, Carrot, Artichoke Hearts, Alfalfa Sprouts and Mango Poppyseed Dressing.
To round the meal out I also grabbed a perfectly ripe Tangerine.
After two days of eating lunch at my desk, it was nice to be able to have something fresh at home once again. I am very spoiled by being able to go home for lunch. It’s the highlight of my work day. J
Alright, I’m off to host another meeting! See you later.
hollar! im excited for city fish.
Fried Oreo Sundae

Your lunch looks great! We have so much leftover lunch meat and cheese, I am going to make melt sammies for dinner! Hope you have a fun night 😉
Good luck with the meeting! I will be checking furiously to see what was in that package…
OMG melty cheese sammie with sprouts?? That’s one of my favs except I add dijon mustard for dipping (cuz I’m obsessed).
I SO wish I could go home for lunch – jealous!
Don’t you hate having a whole loaf to eat all by yourself?! I don’t have a freezer to save my bread in, so if I buy some, I end up having to eat 4-6 slices a day to make sure none goes to waste!
I feel you guys on the loaf eating!! Oroweat (Arnold on your coast) makes this awesome “mini-loaf”, it’s not that much cheaper, but it’s like, half a loaf, so no wasting! Otherwise, I just freeze half the loaf, then toast them lata! Have fun at din!
Mmmm grilled cheese. Great lunch!!
Mmmmm, perfect lunch! It sounds warming.
Oh how I love grilled cheese…. And I’m so jealous that you get to lunch at home, how lovely!
haha I am sooo bad at texting, I actually sent a text to the WRONG person yesterday…thank goodness it wasn’t scandalous..
Good luck with your busy day!
