My third Stitch Fix arrived at the end of March and I have to say, this was my favorite fix yet.
Here’s what was inside:
1. Angie Tenessy Chevron Print Maxi Dress
My stylist was spot on when she wrote “I know you love maxi dresses” (I do!). If it were up to me my whole closet would be full of them and I would wear nothing but maxi dresses all spring and summer. I just love how comfortable and easy they are; this dress was no exception. I loved the orange chevron, the soft cotton material, and the casual fit. I’ve had it for two weeks and have already worn it to work (paired with a gray cardigan) and to Disney for a casual day at Epcot.
This dress was a winner and a definite “keep.”
2. Angie Allana Printed Mini Skirt
I have to be honest, I wasn’t sure I’d like this skirt. It’s not like anything I currently own and I wasn’t sure I could pull it off. However, it only took about a minute of playing dress-up in my closet and I was sold. The skirt is made of a soft cotton material that’s perfect for spring or summer. It’s also very flattering thanks to the elastic waistband that gives a little in the back. I paired the skirt with a long sleeve white cotton shirt, maroon belt, and sandals for work (business casual at its finest).
Then a tank top, scarf, and hat for more of a casual look (planning on wearing this over the weekend).
3. 411Hawthorn Printed Dolman Sleeve Top
Another item that surprised me. I’ve seen this style of shirt floating around, but have never tried one on myself. I braced myself for the worst, but was pleasantly surprised with how flattering and comfortable the fit was. I was also a fan of the length. The shirt was long and could easily be paired with leggings for an ultra-comfy outfit.
4. Kensie Jeans Kaleigh Ankle Biter Jean
I’m still not 100% sold on light jeans. I like the idea of them, but I think they may bring a little too much attention to my “muscular legs.” However, I really loved the fit of the pants and thought they were really comfortable. It’s rare to find jeans that are the right length on my legs and hit my waist at just the right spot.
5. Zad Katelyn Layered Geometric Necklace
I’m a fan of longer necklaces and really like how simply and easy this one is. It works with almost everything.
So did you catch all that? I had a Stitch Fix first this month – I kept all 5 items! Since I opted to keep all 5, I received a 25% discount on my total order (which is equivalent to receiving the pair of jeans for free!). Sweet.
What they say is true, the fixes do get better as time goes on. I think the trick is leaving very detailed feedback on why you liked and didn’t like certain things.
What would you have kept and returned in the fix?
