Bama + Ry Patriotic Giveaway

by Meghann on June 19, 2013

I have a GREAT giveaway for you guys today! πŸ™‚

You may remember that a few months back I introduced you to the uber-talented Jasmine and her adorable line of copper jewelry at Bama + Ry. If you haven’t read it yet, check out her inspirational story on how she came into the jewelry business (warning – it’s a tear jerker!). I loved her jewelry so much that I hired her to do a few personalized custom necklaces for my bridesmaids.

IMG_5236.JPG

I wear the β€œMrs. Russell” necklace she sent as a gift almost everyday. It’s my good luck charm.

IMG_5250.JPG

Anyway, in honor of celebrating America’s birthday next month, I have three Bama + Ry necklaces up for grabs for three lucky winners.

usa colors three choices.jpg

These necklaces are AMAZING. Each pendant measure 1-1/4″ wide and comes in three styles. Text Only, Blue Stars, and Red Stripes. The back of the pendant is painted (blue) birch wood. The pendant is sealed with a non-toxic varnish. All findings and ball chain are oxidized and distressed copper.

usa colors back.jpg

Measurements:

  • Chain Length: 18 inches or 45.7cm.
  • Pendant: 1-1/4″ wide

usa colors 2.jpg

They’re just plain fun. I look at the pendant and I see ray bans, cut off jeans, beer, and beach. Basically, 4th of July in a nutshell. πŸ˜‰

So who wants to win one?!

It’s really simple. Just leave a comment below with your favorite 4th of July tradition. BBQ? Fireworks? Having the day off? It’s up to you! You have until Saturday, June 22nd to leave a comment. I’ll draw a random winner on Sunday!

Don’t forget to show Bama+Ry some love!

You can also use the code HAPPY4TH at https://www.etsy.com/shop/BamaRy for 20% off any purchase through the 4th.

I love the 4th!! It brings back such great memories spent with my grandparents. Every 4th of July my grandpa would take us to his farm to shoot off “big” fireworks, we would go back to my grandparents house where my Grandma and parents were barbecuing and we would spend the rest of the night watching the town fireworks show.

The 4th of July is a pretty big deal here in Philly, so it’s hard to pick just one tradition as my favorite. But if I’m forced to pick one, I would say that my fave is going to the Pops on Independence Concert at Independence Hall with my girlfriends. Nothing like patriotic music, ice cream, and Independence Hall to get you in the mood for the holiday!

Nothing better than a bbq! Some good grilled meats, watermelon, and drinks is all I need! I also love watching the Boston fireworks from my family friend’s rooftop. The great views without the crowds!

July 4th is also my dad’s birthday – we usually spent it barbecuing with family and jumping in the pool! This is actually the first 4th of July that we’ll get to be together as a family, though, in 3 years. The first 2 years my fiance was still in the military and we ended up having other obligations and last year we had a wedding – looking forward to returning to an old tradition this year!
