Some Food

Psst… I updated the wedding page today. Check out the progress I’ve made on the Bridal Shape-Up plan thus far.

Look what arrived in the mail today.

I’m on an Ironman research kick lately. This is one of three books I ordered off of Amazon last week. Truth be told, I have no idea how to train for an Ironman, so I’m using these books as a jumping off point in figuring out what exactly I’m getting myself into. So far I’ve discovered I’m in for lots of pain, dozens of potential injuries, hours in the pool/on the track/in the saddle, and an insatiable appetite. Noted. Am I crazy if I’m still really excited about doing it? Yes, but according to these books, at least I’m not alone.

My lunch today was a little Mexican fiesta.

The chicken tortilla soup is from the Publix deli. I love their deli soups, they’re quick, tasty, and easy.

On the side I made a mini quesadilla with a blue flaxseed tortilla, cheddar cheese, and half an avocado.

Dinner was simple: italian sausage with peppers and onion, mashed sweet potatoes, and roasted broccoli/cauliflower.

I also had a handful of nuts as an afternoon snack.

Derek and I were able to tackle a few wedding tasks this evening – I love checking items off of the to-do list! We also caught up on How I Met Your Mother (love the show!) and Gossip Girl (more for me than him). The makings of a good night. ๐Ÿ™‚

Now it’s time to get some sleep.

The Camera Behind Those Awesome Muddy Photos

Double Unders

Good Morning! We had some “fun” with double unders at CrossFit this morning. Double Unders. Ugh. These were not my cup of tea. A double under is a where the jump rope makes two passes on a single jump instead of one. The trick is in the wrist with a fast whip of the rope, more ยป
