Do you know what’s an awesome combination? Kale and eggs.
I like to saute the kale first with a little lemon juice, salt, and olive oil. Then I remove the kale and fry two eggs in the same pan to place on top.
I think the dish screams fall with the sauteed greens and just has a nice comfort feel to it.
On the side, I had a red pear and a whole wheat tortilla.
My Whole Foods has bulk bins for cookies now. I picked up a couple yesterday (impulse shopper –> right here) and had one of the chocolate-coated-raspberry-jammed filled ones for dessert. ‘Twas delicious.

Yep, it’s another naked 5k. Get excited!
Did you know “naked 5k” is one of the top googled search terms to get to my blog? True story. I guess there are a lot of curious folks out there who want to know what it’s like to run a naked 5k. Or they’re just severely disappointed when they get to my site and discover there aren’t actually any nude photos. eh. What can you do?
The truth is I had a blast running Streak the Cove back in May and had such a great experience running nude, that I’m thinking about doing it again. Plus, this race is at the GORGEOUS Caliente Resort, which is essentially paradise in the middle of nowhere. Check out that pool!
What I wouldn’t give to be swimming there right now.
The race is at 8:30am on September 30th and registration is now open online HERE (with the $30 fee you get a t-shirt, post-run snacks, and all-day access to the resort following the race). If you’re nervous about running the race please read my race report and realize there’s nothing to be afraid of. There are runners of all shapes, sizes, and abilities and full nudity is NOT required.
Just don’t forget the sunscreen! 😉
