You know it’s going to be a good party when the host isn’t just double fisting, but double pocketing as well.
Now, that takes talent… and creativity.
You also know it’s going to be a great party when the host starts requesting photos of himself “for the blog”
Oh, Marcus. You are one of a kind.
One. of. a. kind.
Marcus and Mary were the awesome duo behind “4th of July Bash 2012.” We ate. We laughed. We drank. We celebrated America’s birthday in style.
The food! Oh, the food!
We were all asked to bring a side dish or dessert and I brought one of each. (I owe you guys two cherry-themed recipes for tomorrow.) There were a lot of creative dishes and everything was simply amazing. My favorite was the un-pictured moroccan carrot dip that I’ll need to recreate in the future.
Stephanie made festive Whoopie Pies that were dyed with kool aid. How cute are these?
When the sun started to set, we made out way to the water to watch the fireworks.
The main fireworks were a little hard to see, but we did get a good show of private fireworks being set off around us.
Happy Birthday, America!
