We have cupcakes!
Lots and lots of cupcakes.
90 to be exact.
Nothing like a little cupcake decorating at eight in the morning to get the day started.
Last night’s flight to Baltimore was a disaster. We ended up taking off at 9:25pm from Tampa, but because of the weather we had to take a round-about path up north, which turned an hour and a half flight to two and a hours. THEN after we were asked to return our seats and tray tables to their upright position – and were told we were about the land – we proceeded to circle the Baltimore airport for 45+ minutes. We finally touched down just around 1:00am. I believe everyone in that plane was cranky and just ready to get off.
Oh, and for a little bonus, Derek’s brother’s battery died while waiting for us. Not cool. After getting jumped by a random taxi driver, we finally made it to his place just around 2:30am. I had never been more ready to crash.
Luckily, this morning was better. Much better. Because we got to see this darling face and all the travel headaches were worth it. 100% worth it.
We’re in Baltimore to celebrate our niece (Marley’s) 1st birthday. I still can’t believe this little munchkin is ONE. They grow up too freakin’ fast.
Pretty soon she’ll be driving all over the place. Wait. She already is.
Noooooo….. stay a baby forever.
Such a big girl!
So this morning I helped her Mama frost a zillion cupcakes for the big party this afternoon and her Pop Pop made us breakfast.
Sausage, egg, and cheese biscuits with fresh fruit.
Check that biscuit out. Yum!
I’m being call to more party planning duty! Bring on the bouncy house, balloons, and baby pools!
