Easy Morning

Good Morning!!!

My swim group is having a flip turn clinic at 10 this morning, so I took advantage of the later start and slept in. Maddie and I enjoyed a leisurely walk around the block, I did the dishes, cleaned the kitchen, and made a simple pre-swim breakfast.


One egg sandwiched between an english muffin with pumpkin butter.


And one apple drizzled (ok, drenched) with PB2.


Nice and light to see me through an hour of flippin’ and floppin’ in the water. Gulp.

Alright, here goes nothin’, I WILL master the flip turn today.

(And by master, i mean my goal is to complete one without hitting my head on the wall. 😉 )

Good luck! I used to be able to do flip turns back in the day but ever since I picked swimming back up I haven’t attempted them! They’re definitely on my “to-do list” but they’re kind of intimidating so I haven’t tried!
