What do you think?

The “running 26.2 before i say i do” shirt has been on my to-do list FOREVER. It was actually supposed to be a present for my sister’s bridal shower, but I couldn’t get it done in time. Whoops! Better later than never, right?

I don’t have the finished shirt just yet. I messed with the design online this afternoon to get an idea of what I wanted for Kelly’s custom race shirt and I plan to take the design and a tech tee to Mother Falcon (an awesome custom shirt shop in downtown Orlando that I highly recommend because they do great custom work while you wait) tomorrow afternoon. It’s the same process I followed when I had custom shirts created for Derek’s first 10k (see them here) and I was super happy with the results. Here’s crossing my fingers that it goes just as smoothly this time around!

Ideally I could have ordered something custom online ahead of time, but this way I know I’m using a running tech tee that Kelly has already approved of, has run marathons in, and is guaranteed to be purple (the bride’s lucky color!). Every other custom running tank I looked at online was cut funky or boring and white.

I’ll keep you in the loop with how it goes tomorrow! :)

Breakfast kept me ridiculously full this morning. I ended up putting a snack plate together for lunch a little later than normal of what ever I could find in the fridge.

There were veggies and hummus

a cheese stick and cashews

and apple sauce (ate last as “dessert”)

I updated the Wedding Page! Check out what went into forming our guest list.

Have you ever had a custom shirt created for a race? What did it say?
