The gang’s all here!
For the first time since September, my whole family is together to ring in the New Year!
And we lucked out, the weather has been AMAZING. What a beautiful last day of 2011!
Perfect for an afternoon at the dog park.
What’s the best way to feed a household of 9? Build your own sandwiches.
We portioned out three loaves of french bread and had a free-for-all toppings bar.
My portion was layered with havarti cheese, turkey, tomato, cucumber, lettuce, and avocado.
With a side of hummus, guacamole, blue chips, and carrots.
And some homemade cinnamon sugar pecans for dessert.
Those things are addicting. 
We’re keeping it pretty casual for New Years Eve. Maybe a trip to a local bar and some fireworks, but really we’re just happy to celebrate together.
However you ring in 2012, please remember to keep it safe and responsible. Only happy news allowed in the morning, ok?
