A Look Back at 2011

by Meghann on December 30, 2011

Another year has come and gone. I know it feels like every year flies by, but I have to say that 2011 takes the cake for the quickest one yet!

A look back at 2008, 2009, and 2010.

Reflecting

2011 was a great year – there’s no doubt about that! – but it was also one filled with new challenges and levels of stress that I had never experienced before. This year was the year that tested my limits, reminded me to slow down, and had me questioning who I was. There was a brief moment there where I forgot life is suppose to be fun and if I spent all of my time letting everyone else influence my decisions, then I wouldn’t be living my life – I would be living theirs.

I have no idea what 2012 will bring or what the future holds, but I do know that I’m going to keep it real and remember who I really am. I worked too hard discovering who I was over the last couple of years to let it fall now.

My goals for 2012?

More honesty. More adventures. More loving life.

Everything else I’ll tackle when I get there.

Here’s to a healthy and happy new year!

Fun year! I laughed though at your Polar Plunge post. You should come to MN at the end of January and do a real polar plunge ;) Last year the temps were in the single digits! So much fun!!

I always say that thinking years go by fast is a sign that you’re getting old. Do you remember when you were young and every year took forever until summer vacation?
Great post, as a new reader I appreciate a look back at some of the old posts that I missed!
