What do you make when you have half a head of cabbage, chicken sausages, tomatoes, and mushrooms in the fridge?
This, apparently.

I really was at a lost on what to make for dinner. I shredded the cabbage and tried to braise it on the stove top top with some vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, and mushrooms. It was sweet, salty, and made a good bed for the chicken sausages I had in the fridge.

Hey, it worked!
I was also at a loss with that tomatoes, so I left them as is. Simply sliced with a shake of salt.

Dessert was better than dinner.
I made a mix of ricotta cheese, blackberry jam, chocolate chips, and cocoa crispies.

Yum!
Eversave Giveaway!
It’s no secret I’m a fan of group deal sites! I <3 how they allow me to discover new local restaurants, salons, spas, gyms, etc. right in my inbox!
Last month I used an Eversave deal at Tranquility Escape Salon in South Tampa and loved it. The owner was super sweet and did a great job taming my locks. That same salon has another Eversave deal up for grabs today.

$39 for a partial foil of highlights or $49 for a full foil at Tranquility Escape Salon. Sweet!
Good news for you – Eversave would like to present one of the highlight saves (a $39 value) to a local Tampa or Orlando reader (Orlando has a $39 Highlight Save deal going right now too!). All you have to do is leave a comment below with ‘Tampa local in the house!’ of ‘Orlando local in the house!’ (so, I know who wants it) and I’ll pick a random winner tomorrow during my lunch post.
The owner at Tranquility really is super sweet and does a fab job. If you’re in the Tampa area I highly suggest you check her out.
