Sunrise Run

Happy Easter!

But, most importantly…

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MADDIE!!!!

My baby girl is 2 today! She’s practically a teenager! (In doggie years that is )

The story of the day I brought Maddie home.<- an oldie, but a goodie

Puppy Maddie! They grow up so fast.

My Easter/ Maddie’s Birthday morning began with a sunrise 6 mile run with my little brother and our friends Eric and Rachel.

We me them at the new causeway by the river. Our route included doing a loop over the bridge (yay, hill work!)

And an extra loop along the river and back.

It was a beautiful run by the water with great company. Ben is preparing for his first marathon next week and spent the entire run quizzing us on what to expect. He’s a bundle of nerves at the moment, but I know he’s going to do great.

My Dad was hard at work in the kitchen when we returned.

Traditional Biscuits and Gravy for everyone!

I like mine with half gravy and half jam

with scrambled eggs on the side

and kiwi to round it out

We’re heading to my Aunt and Uncles for Easter lunch! I’m heading to the kitchen now to make my asparagus side dish. Cross your fingers it comes out!

Happy birthday to your baby!!! And I’m sure your brother is going to do fantastic! Hes had such a great source of information and information . Tasty breakfast- love kiwi. Good luck on the side dish and I hope the rest of your Easter is wonderful

the sunrise run is such a great way to start the morning!

that gravy looks so rich and delicious! mmm mmm I’m so glad I’m going to the Hearty Boys Restaurant tonight so I can get a good comfort food Easter dinner!

I love biscuits and gravy. I only get it in restaurants since my homemade version was pretty nasty. I just love it though!
