Eversave Giveaway

by Meghann on April 12, 2011

See that look in Maddie’s eyes?

IMG_1807.JPG

It says ‘I’m ready to RUN!’

IMG_1806.JPG

I took Maddie out for a 3 miler today.

She. Loved. It.

Next time I take her out I need to get it on film. This girl seriously loves to run.

A squirrel goes by? She ignores it.

Other dogs bark at her? She keeps running with her head held high.

All she cares about is running with her Mom. In that moment she couldn’t be happier. πŸ™‚

IMG_1805.JPG

The 3 miles were a little rougher for me. My legs are still tight from my half marathon (I blame the hills!) and recovering. I came home after the run and did a few pigeons and double pigeons to open my hips up and stretch my IT Bands.

My post run treat – overnight oats in a jar.

IMG_2164.JPG

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • chocolate butter toffee peanut butter
  • almond milk
  • plain yogurt
  • chia seeds
  • cinnamon
  • raisins
  • strawberries

Love those layers

Eversave Giveaway

It’s no secret I’m a BIG fan of group deal sites. They’re the perfect way to save a little cash while discovering new restaurants, work out options, or events in the area. Love the concept. Love the locality.

Eversave (one of my favorite group deal sites) knows how much I love them. They have a user friendly site and are always very responsive via twitter or Facebook. Oh, and they were kind enough to offer $25 worth of Save Reward credits to TWO lucky Meals and Miles readers.

Eversave_ColorWIthTag_Med.gif

Want to test out Eversave for yourself? Well here’s your chance.

Leave a comment on this post with your favorite green way to save cash (in honor of Earth Day on April 22!) and I’ll pick two winners tomorrow morning to receive $25 worth of Save Reward credits.

The save reward credits can be used site wide, but are limited to US residents only.

Be sure to check Eversave out on Twitter and Facebook for the latest saves in your area.

Good Luck!

When I’m home, I help with the family garden! We grow our own tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, etc. Tastes delicious and wayyy cheaper — plus my step dad and I make our own spaghetti sauce with the tomatoes!

My green way of saving money is tearing my paper towels in half whenever I use one. It saves waste and it makes them last longer so I don’t always have to keep buying more! I also stopped using them to clean the counter tops and now use a washcloth that I wash once a week. We keep it under the sink because it can get kind of yucky! But it’s better than wasting 5 paper towels!

I save money walking there because I don’t have to start up my car and I only buy what I can carry home in my bags!
