My body is still recovering from Sunday’s race. I’m letting it take its time and listening to cues on when it’s ready to move on.
For instance this morning my body told me stairs are still a bad idea – why do I live on the second story again? – but a nice walk on the treadmill with the latest issue of People was a fine way to start the morning.
Thirty minutes on the treadmill…. fifteen with the foam roller….and a few crunches and push ups thrown in there in between. That’s all my body told me it wanted.
It’s also craving yoga. I have a date with a new flow class tonight. I think that may be just what the doctor ordered. 😉
It was cold this morning. Brrr…..
Nothing like a hot bowl of oatmeal to warm this chilled Florida girl up.
Chocoaltey Cranberry Oats 🙂
- 1/2 cup Rolled Oats
- 1/2 cup Water
- 1/2 cup Almond Milk
- Chia Seeds
- Pinch of Salt
- Chocolate Protein Powder
- Cranberry Sauce
- Attune Chocolate Munch
Now I’m chugging C andy Cane hot tea to warm myself up even further.
