After a week without hot yoga, I was practically salivating at the mouth waiting for my chance to jump back into it after work.
I think the instructor said it right when she called tonight’s flow a ‘cleansing practice.’ It was seriously just what the doctor ordered. I worked up a great sweat, gave my body a stretch, and cleared my head of any craziness that may have been inside. It was truly cleansing.
Before yoga I fueled up with some dried peaches that I dipped in a hearty spoonful of peanut butter.

Parsnips were on my mind for dinner. Earthy, starchy parsnips. And you know what makes a good parsnip? When you coat it in nut butter and bake it. Yummmmm….

Nut Butter Crusted Parsnip Fries and I went through a little obsessive period a few months back. i think I was making them once or twice a week for a while there, but that was a few months ago and I’ve been missing my favorite nutty fries. I forgot of much of an excellent dinner they make.

I paired the fries with roasted brussel sprouts.

Chocolate for dessert.

Are there any One Tree Hill fans out there? I’ve been catching up with past seasons on NetFlix and I’ve become a fan of the dramatic last season. I <3 NetFlix!
Next I plan to watch all of the old 90210s.
