Thank You Larabar

by Meghann on October 21, 2010

I have to start out by saying this… Thank You Larabar for producing mini versions of your new Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie flavor and handing them out at the Chicago Marathon Expo. And Thank You for looking the way when I took two huge handfuls from the container. ;)  They really do make the perfect morning snacks. 🙂

The morning got away from me. I’m working hard to make sure I can get out of here on time for my audition this afternoon. p.s. thanks for all the help – you guys are great! 🙂

Lunch came from my lunch bag

And it went from this

to this

IMG_3712

In 5 minutes or less. 😉

Totally forgot to take a photo of just the box (it is in the group shot up above) but this was a Tandoor Chef Palak Paneer Frozen Meal I had received  as a free sample a couple of months ago.

IMG_3715

I’ll admit it’s not pretty, but it was a a tasty easy meal. I especially liked the cheese.

It needed something for dipping purposes. I didn’t have any Naan, but I did have pita. 🙂

IMG_3721

Isn’t this re-usable bag the cutest?

IMG_3723

Tami was kind enough to send me a few different styles and colors months ago, but they got lost in the shuffle that is my apartment. I found the envelope full of them this morning and thought it was the perfect vehicle to transport my dessert in.

IMG_3728

Bonus: all these need is a quick spin in the dishwasher and they’re good as new after each use. 🙂

The Gooey Chocolate Peanut Butter Bar was much better today than it was yesterday. Today’s piece has a huge glob of peanut butter on it and I think that helped. It was still thin, flaky and fell apart when I picked it up, but at least it tasted good.

Alright peeps, I have an audition to catch – wish me luck!

Question: Have you ever auditioned for a reality tv show before? Sent in a video? Applied?

Do share!

I <3 your Vera lunch bag! I think the lunch bag might be one of the ONLY Vera pieces I don't already own. 🙂

I have never auditioned for a reality show – I wouldn't even consider it! (I had a nightmare once about being on Project Runway. I can't sew.)

Indian food never looks pretty, but it’s always delicious!

Palak Paneer is one of my favourite Indian dishes. Next to Chana Masala ( http://gamereviewwiki.com/bikinibirthday/2010/10/19/chana-masala/ ) of course.

Good luck with the interview.

I used to be addicted to this awesome palak paneer at a hole-in-the-wall place near my work, but they tragically closed – I didn’t even get to say good-bye or ask if the chef was going to cook anywhere else. It was really salty and yummy and I miss it so. That photo just brought me back some seriously tasty memories.

good luck…have fun! I once attempted to audition for Double Dare (yes, this was in 1989), but the line of cars at the TV studio was so long one hour before the auditions began that they had already given away all of the audition slots. At least I had a good reason for going late to school that morning.

34 Elizabeth October 21, 2010 at 7:12 pm

I tried for American Idol season 2. I ddn’t know that there were two rounds of producers before you even saw the judges. I made it past the first round with the producers and had to signa contract to wear the same thing at every audition. That way they can cut the clips and make it look like you had a lot of time in front of the judges. Crazy huh? Wish I could have gotten further, but it’s still one of my best memories from high school.

35 Emily @ Emilyeatsclean October 21, 2010 at 7:24 pm
