Happy Humpty Dumpty Day everyone!
It’s a beautiful morning here – the sun is actually shining for once!
Dear Sun – Where were you this weekend when I was hoping to play with you at the beach?!?! Why must you only come out when I am stuck inside all day??!
Anyways… my morning started off easy with a 30 minute living room boot camp routine that I made up while watching the morning news.
- 2 mins Jumping Jacks
- 2 mins High Knees
- 2 mins Butt Kicks
- 1 min Squats
- 1 min Push Ups
- 1 min Crunches
- 1 min Bicycle Crunches
- 2 min Jumping Twists
- 2 min Standing Mountain Climbers
- 1 min Alternating front & back kicks on right
- 1 min Alternating front & back kicks on left
- (Repeat)
I plan on retuning to hot yoga this evening, so the morning boot camp was just a little warm up to jump start my day. 🙂
Breakfast…
Cereal – what else?
In the bowl
- 1/2 cup Shredded Wheat
- 1/2 cup Kashi Puffs
- 1/2 cup Multigrain Cheerios
- Plain Greek yogurt
- Strawberry Preserves
- Rolled Dates
- Strawberries
- Blueberries
Oh so good. 🙂
While I was creating my Race Recaps page, I went ahead and updated my Favorite Posts page for your viewing pleasure. It’s still not 100% how I want it to look, but it’s a start. 🙂 Let me know if there is anything missing that should be on there!
Happy Humpty Dumpty Day everyone!
Ooh I love that morning workout – I’m totally stealing that! What are standing mountain climbers though..? :s
Have a good day 🙂
Here’s an example 🙂 http://www.seventeen.com/health/tips/standing-mountain-climber
Oh I found your Bikini Confidence post on your favourites page! Sounds right up my alley
Great 30 minute work out. My legs are still quite sore after returning to stregnth training Monday. I was actually really hoping to not be sore this morning for a 30 minute spin class followed by yogalaties, not this morning :-(.
Good for you getting a workout in this morning! I give a lot of credit to anyone who works out in the morning…I have a hard enough time just getting out of bed in time most days!
I am glad its sunny in fl but its hotter in nj than fl! Ughh! I really need to do a circuit workout like you did! It sounds fun and an added benefit is its in the comfort of your own home!
I am going to email you today about help on tempo runs.. I hope you can help me as I am totally clueless and google is not helping 🙂
I keep seeing it popping in your breakfast, and sorry for my ignorance, but what are rolled dates??
I don’t know how else to described it besides rolled dates are pieces of dates that have been rolled in a mix of powdered sugar.
Seems like a great way to start your day!
Is it wrong that when I read the title of this post in google reader that I thought your post might be featuring a giveaway of humpty dumpty chips? hahahaha Not that I wouldn’t have read the post anyways, but anything related to chips will just pull me right in.
wow thats a lot of photos! I have a ton, but honestly when I put my own photo albums up I forget to tag myself!
Your cereal always looks so pretty! 🙂
I love your morning boot camp! Best way to start the day!
The favorites page looks nice! Much more organized, I like it!
I would love to try a hot yoga class – the only one near me is at 7:00 a.m. on a Saturday though! Not sure I could wake my ass up for that one!
i have the same bowl 🙂
Those rolled dates look so good! What a fun bowl of cereal.
I can’t believe it’s already hump day! This week is zooming by!
