I was spotted at my booth this morning!

This is Amy. Everyone say ‘Hi Amy!’
Amy and her friends were huddled together just outside my booth this morning and when I went to offer them free pencils Amy stepped forward and proclaimed ‘I read your blog!’ It was fun and exciting to find a blog reader in the craziness that was ISTE 2010. My co-worker immediately told me to grab a my camera so she could snap a photo of us and then I shoved about a billion free pencils into Amy’s bag.
That was actually a fun note to end this year’s conference on. I’m not sure if my company will be returning to this particular conference, but I would say it was fun attending this year and playing with all the ‘big boys’ in the field.
As predicted my yogurt did little to old me over this morning. I stopped on the way into the center and grabbed some Heart Thrive cookies and nibbled on them through the morning.

I had my heart set on Falafel King for lunch. Not sure why?

I ordered the falafel combo with tabouli and buba ganoush.

With a whole wheat pita on the side.

The food was actually pretty bad. This was nothing compared to the mediterrean delis down the street from my work in Orlando. I think that place has spoiled me. Oh well. I ate about half of everything pictured above and washed it all down with a refreshing unsweetened passion fruit tea from Starbucks.

I’m currently waiting to board my plane at DIA and am debating a smoothie for dinner. My mouth is so dry and a smoothie just sounds much more refreshing then trying to carry on a sandwich or salad of some sort.
Hmmmm… decisions, decisions.

Disappointing falafel is hard to get over. Falafel should never be disappointing. That should be a law or something.

The tea looks so refreshing though, and I hope you went with the smoothie! Not that I’m craving them right now or anything…

Dear Amy,
I have the shirt you’re wearing.
I ran it too- in Houston.
It was my first race
The end!
that race was my goal race after starting to run in august of 09. thinking about doing the half this year but i might be too chicken! but also toying with the idea of doing a second sprint tri this fall and actually doing a training group, so that would end the half thoughts for me….
i am just now getting caught up! but it was so nice to meet you at the conference! after we walked away, i thought-maybe i shouldnt have done that!
