Beach time!

This never gets old.

Most of the vacations my family take are always go, go, go. This may be my first vacation that everyone just sits stills and simply relaxes. I’m quite enjoying it. I actually don’t feel like I need a vacation from my vacation for once!

We spent the afternoon chilling in the sun. No big deal.
Before the beach Derek and I were defeated in a game of Pictionary.

And I had a lovely snack of Cheerios, Pretzels, and Chocolate Covered Edamame during game play.

My Dad made a killer pork roast for dinner.

He coated the roast in an entire bottle of teriyaki sauce and baked it all afternoon. By the time we got home from the beach it was perfect.

I divided my plate in half and had an extra large serving of broccoli and peppers on one half.

Then split the other half by half again and served myself a quarter of a plate of pork roast.

And a quarter of a plate of potatoes.

Derek and I cracked open one of the bottles of wine we purchased on our trip to San Francisco last month to pair with dinner.

It was just as good as I remembered. I had 2.5 glasses.

We made CUPCAKES for dessert!

They weren’t pretty, but they sure were tasty!

I had one while watching the sunset.

Good Night!
