The Best Jar of Overnight Oats

by Meghann on June 1, 2010

Happy Monday Tuesday everyone!!

I can’t believe the 3 day weekend has come to an end. At least it was a good one. I feel very relaxed now. πŸ™‚

The alarm went of early this morning. Boooo!!

I had to drag myself out of bed and rush to make it to boot camp at my gym. I really enjoyed this morning’s session. I like how the boot camp class always switch things up so that one minute you are doing suicides, the next jumping jacks, and the next weights. You never get bored and you never know what to expect next. πŸ™‚

This was probably one of the BEST overnight oats in a jar I have ever created.

 IMG_8524

Why were they the best? Because they were made with my new favorite jar of nut butter in the whole wide world!

IMG_8522

Naturally Nutty Cinnamon Vanilla Sunflower Butter!!

This jar of nut butter will surely be missed. There are no words for how good it is! I would say it is definitely worth the $9.99 per jar cost + $8.95 for shipping. In fact, I’m already β€˜this close’ to ordering another jar right now. I have it in the check out cart and am just waiting to press submit. πŸ™‚

Other Ingredients:

  • Last of Naturally Nutty Cinnamon Vanilla Sunflower Butter
  • 1/2 cup Oats
  • Plain Yogurt
  • Almond Milk
  • Cinnamon
  • Craisins
  • Cacao Nibs
  • Berries!

Good to the last drop.

I graduated high school in 2003, University in 2010 (next month!)

33 Jojo June 1, 2010 at 10:29 am

I’m so impressed you were able to wake up early after the long weekend. I’m still dragging. The gym will have to wait until after work.

I graduated high school in 2002. College (also, FSU) in 2006. I’m currently keeping my fingers crossed that I will graduate from Grad school later this year!

34 Allie (Live Laugh Eat) June 1, 2010 at 10:33 am

That jar is pretty rad. So is the Pepita Sun Butter. See I can’t buy them online because I eat them like yogurt and they are empty in approximately 2 days. I don’t even make enough money in 2 days to pay for that! hahaha

35 theprocessofhealing June 1, 2010 at 10:57 am

YUM!! That sounds delicious!
I graduated high school in May of 2006 and I’m STILL in college. Yeah.

38 thewhatkateateblog June 1, 2010 at 11:26 am

I graduated high school is 2006, and Im patiently waiting to graduate college next summer!

39 Katey June 1, 2010 at 11:32 am

Oh man, those oats look so good! Do you have to add yogurt to overnight oats, or can you use just milk or water?

40 Melissa @ For the Love of Health June 1, 2010 at 11:33 am

early morning boot camp? good for you!
do you eat anything prior to your workout? I don’t know if I could do something that intense first thing without food, especially since I pretty much cut out nighttime snacking.

Great looking oats! I have to try that nut butter!

Man- I have to think about graduation…I think it was 2001! yikes! Almost 10 years ago now!

41 jackie June 1, 2010 at 11:39 am

Hi Meghann, I noticed you always eat after your workout. Do you have a prework out snack in the morning? If not, how do you do it? I’m always starving in the morning and couldn’t imagine not eating if I was going to workout for more than 30min.

42 Meghann June 1, 2010 at 2:12 pm

I usually have half of a granola bar or a small handful of cereal. πŸ™‚
