Happy Cinco de Mayo!
I had almost forgot that today was Cinco de Mayo until 3:00 pm my co-workers started heading to the board room for our company fiesta. Yes, my office drinks in the middle of the day – don’t judge.
I decided not to partake in the food and booze portion of the festivities, but I did take out some frustration with the games set up for the party. Nerf gun darts and corn hole anyone? Nothing like a couple of rounds of games built for an 8 year old to bring out the little kid in all of us.
While my co-workers snacked on chips and guacamole, I had some carrots and a spoonful of almond butter.

When I left the office around 5:00 pm, the majority of my male co-workers were still playing with the nerf dart guns. I would have loved to continue kicking their booties at darts – I seriously rock the nerf dart board – but I had places to go and people to see.
Well, really I only had one person to see.
Hi Caitlin!

Caitlin invited me to hot yoga after work this afternoon and we had decided to meet for a cup of tea before hand.

It was nice to catch up on life and blogs.
Hot yoga was extra sweaty this evening. I blame the near 90 temps we’ve been experiencing on that one. Our teacher encouraged us to focus on the modification version of poses tonight. It was a nice change of pace, but still very challenging.
As yoga lets out on the later side, dinner had to be quick and painless.

At lunch time I had placed a container of frozen Coconut Red Lentil Soup in the fridge to defrost. When I arrived home I simply heated it up in the microwave for a couple of minutes, topped it with some peanuts, and dinner was served.

A dry piece of toast was great for soaking up all the soupy juices.

For dessert I had the last of my container of Thin Mint Ice Cream with TJ’s Mini PB Cups.

Still no word on the garmin. *sniff * sniff
I think re-watching last night’s Glee will help make me feel better.
Here’s hoping for better luck tomorrow!
Good night!
