Breathing Normally Again

by Meghann on April 12, 2010

Hello and Welcome Back!

It seems a few of you disappeared this weekend. That’s completely understandable considering I did a little disappearing of my own this weekend. But, I’m back now and ready to fall back into my normal routine.

The conference was fun, but it’s nice to be breathing normally again. 😉

I actually couldn’t wait to take off on my run this morning. It felt like an eternity since my last run around my neighborhood. I did a very easy 5 miles, but my legs felt like they wanted to keep running forever. I love running. 🙂

For breakfast I dove into something I hadn’t had since Wednesday: cereal with yogurt!

I can’t believe I went so many days without yogurt!

  • 1/2 cup Quaker Oatmeal Squares
  • 1/2 cup Fiber One
  • 1/4 cup Pumpkin Granola
  • Plain Yogurt
  • Strawberries

It tasted sooo good. 🙂

I have so much work to catch up on. You would think the day after our user group we would have a day to relax, but that is not the case. I have a pile of work that has been set aside for when I returned and unfortunately that day is today.

Wish me luck!!

Back to reality! Back to routine; I know how that is!
I’m going to be really shameless, tacky and go against all blog manners ever [at least I’m honest, right?] and let you know that if you want a good deal, check out my post and get some good magazine reads.

Although vacations are nice, there is something so comforting and satisfying about coming home and getting back to the normal routines. Good luck at work today and welcome back!

Love traveling, but it’s always so nice to be home – cooking in your own kitchen, sleeping your own bed, etc! D looks ecstatic about his gift, great idea!

Hey Meghan!!

Good luck with all that work!! I wanted to let you know that I LOVE your blog and read every post. I also love that you include stuff from your personal life haha. Mainly I went for the food and exercise updates, but you’re super fun to get updates on! All this is why I gave you this award!

Best of luck! I hate the day after vacation and trying to get back to normal. Even though yours was a working getaway, I’m sure it is still tough to adjust!

31 Amanda @ Cakes and Ale April 12, 2010 at 6:32 pm

Doesn’t it feel awesome after a work trip / vacation to get back to your normal routine? I always feel that way… being back in my kitchen is the best! I love eating out, but I also miss cooking my own food when I travel.
