Last night I stayed up way past my bedtime working on my sister’s princess half video (it’s at the end of this post) and when my alarm went off this morning I did not want to move. If it wasn’t for Maddie and her never ending kisses I would probably still be in bed right now.
I debated on going on a long run, but instead decided to keep it short with a 40 minute speed work out on the treadmill. I started with a 15 minute warm up at 6.5 and then did 8 1:00 intervals of 8.5 with a 10 minute cool down.
For breakfast I could not wait to dig into one of my leftover waffles from breakfast on Saturday.
I topped the waffles with a mix of almond butter, plain yogurt, white nectarine, and cocoa nibs.
I had almost forgot that I had added extra cinnamon to the mix on Saturday. That first bite was a great reminder! The cinnamon spice had really developed over the last couple of days in the waffles. Since I LOVE cinnamon I thought it only made the waffle taste better. 🙂
