Look what I got!
A 2009 Chevy Traverse and for the next 4 weeks its mine, mine, mine.
I look good with silver, don’t you think?
Last Friday I had mentioned I was selected as one of Central Florida’s Chevy Girls on the Go and as such Chevy is providing me with the Traverse to drive for the next 4 weeks. They will also be covering all my gas expenses as well as a few other surprises along the way.
Starting Monday I will begin blogging about my experiences with the Traverse on the Orlando Girlfriend Getaway website. I will be sure to post a link to those posts on my blog so you can follow me on my Chevy adventures.
I’ve only had the car an hour and I am already having fun with it!
I was actually pretty excited we were picking our cars up from WESH. I am a morning news junkie and watch channel 2 news every morning before the Today Show comes on.
Some of the morning news anchors were actually still in the news area as we were passing by. I felt like a huge nerd as I was exclaiming “OMG is that Amy Sweezy?!?”
We sat through a presentation and signed some paperwork. Then a product specialist from Cecil Clark Chevrolet was kind enough to give me a quick breakdown of the car.
I think I’ve got all the nifty features down now. Can’t wait to use them all!
Picking up the car was a longer process then I had originally intended. By the time I got back to the office I was starving and more than ready to break into my lunch.
The key to brining lunch to work is LOTS of tupperware containers.
I heated up the last of my lavahs bread in the office toaster.
And had a sampling of dips to enjoy the bread with as my meal.
Zucchini and Squash.
All enjoyed while working away at my desk.
I can’t believe the day is already halfway over and I have so much to do! Better start crackin!
