All I needed was a little RAM

by Meghann on January 8, 2010

Not sure I mentioned it or not, but the new RAM for my MAC finally arrive and instead of trying to install the memory myself, I took it to the Genius bar so the professional could handle it.

It’s AMAZING the difference the extra 2GB of RAM has on the speed of my MAC. Before it would freeze if I had too many applications open at one time, but now I can surf the net, tweet, upload photos, listen to itunes and blog on Ecto without a problem. All I can say is THANK GOD! I’m a multi-tasker by nature and just doing one project at a time killed me. This is much better.

Thanks Mom and Dad for the great Christmas present! It was worth the wait. :)

There are a few changes happening in my office over the next couple of weeks so I was kept plenty busy this morning. I snacked on some cashews and dried kiwi around 10:00.

Lunch was pretty much a make over of last night’s dinner.

The left over hush puppies and fish was added to spinach and topped with salsa.

And the yucca fries were reheated and served with ketchup.

I <3 left overs!

I managed to leave work a little earlier than expected and am now starting on my task list of a million and one things to do before marathon craziness hits!

I will be heading to the expo with my Sis in a couple of hours and have dinner plans with Melissa and Sabrina. Let the madness begin!

I love leftovers — used to hate them but now, can’t imagine life without them. Makes meal planning so much easier, too. ;)

I thought your multitasking comment was funny because OSG Angela just did a post that was kind’ve about learning how NOT to multitask. :)

Good luck with the race! So many people have been talking about it and I’m kind of excited to hear about it… even if it is super chilly…

Mmm! Hush puppies. Haven’t had those in awhile. I can never “make over” my leftovers, and I think that’s part of why I don’t like eating them that often.

Yuca fries. Hmmm… My family used to make yuca at holidays and I hated it but it was always mushy and weird. Fries may be the perfect solution!

My MAC could use some new RAM as well – doesn’t it feel like a whole new computer??

I’m not big on leftovers, trying to change that though. I like how you gave them a bit of a makeover so it wasn’t exactly the same thing!
