The Start of 2010

by Meghann on January 1, 2010

Happy New Year! And welcome to 2010!

I spent the last moments of 2009 ringing in the New Years with those I love the most.

(Mom and Dad didn’t even make it to 9:00)

We discovered CNN was reporting live from times square and were able to watch the ball drop with Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffen.

We rang in the New Year with all our east coast peeps (10:00pm local time) then all said our good nights. I mean technically since we are FROM the east coast it was like New Years to us anyways. ;)

This morning I awoke to the lovely aroma of bacon frying on the stove top

and homemade biscuits baking in the oven.

We’re taking the day off from skiing and doing some tubing and ice skating today! Should be fun!

P.S. the worst part about going skiing/ tubing? Getting dressed! Ughh… I hate layering up in uncomfortable clothes!

Looks like an awesome start to the new year!

What is tubing?? To me, tubing means sitting in a tube and floating down a river, but I know that is not the case for you today! lol

Enjoy!

oh you made it! And is it just me or is that the weirdest duo ever . . . Kathy Griffin and Anderson Cooper?!?!?

Wow, that breakfast looks heavenly! There’s nothing better than the smell of bacon in the AM. Hope you guys have a great time skiing/tubing today, I’ve heard nothing but great things about the snow up there since we’ve been gone!

I’m definitely from up north — dressing in tons of warm layers is my favorite part of fall and winter!

I’m with you on winter, we’ve saved money not going out this year becausee the thought of getting dressed was just too exhausting! :)
