A Look Back at 2009

by Meghann on December 31, 2009

When 2008 came to an end at this time last year I hated to see it go. It was a year of new beginnings for me and one that I will be telling my grand children for years to come.

I will tell them how I decided to live my life to the fullest. How I discovered my passion for healthy food and running. How I followed my dreams by leaving one life behind and starting another. And how I started this little blog and put my life online for the world to see.

Yes, 2008 was a great year – but you know what? – 2009 was even been even better!

If 2008 was the year of new beginnings, then 2009 was the year of growth and love. It was the year I learned to live my life the way I wanted to live it and I wouldn’t trade any of it for a minute.

Sounds like you had an awesome year! My fav moments were running my first half, then skipping the full and doing an ultramarathon, getting an essay published in the New York Times, and getting good grades!
Happy New Year!

I love this post! You had QUITE the year. And, if someone is going to say it, I will – but look at the SHAPE you have gotten in over the year doing what you love and eating what you love! You’re the real deal. What being healthy really means.

Love ya and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I love reading other people’s recaps! I’m not sure if I could pick the best memories for me. It was probably my trips – Punta Cana, NYC, and Vancouver.
