Packing Before Blogging

by Meghann on December 23, 2009

2+ hours of gathering and packing later….

and I think I’ve got everything!

Its amazing how much hard work packing for 11 days is! Especially when you are going from one climate extreme to another and have to bring Christmas presents. I will just be happy when I finally walk through the door of my parents house and can put my feet up for a change. ๐Ÿ™‚

Thankfully work went by pretty quickly this morning.

My co-worker brought in some home made christmas cookies and the christmas tree sugar cookie looked too good to pass up.

Homemade iced sugar cookies are 100 times better than their store bought counter parts. ๐Ÿ™‚

My lunch was another delicious creation involving the last of anything fresh in my fridge.

  • Phone Charger
  • Point & Shoot Charger
  • DSLR Charger
  • Ipod Charger
  • Computer Charger
  • Garmin Charger

Not sure I would do if I left any of these behind!

Time to hit the road!

I always have to pack a ton of chargers too. Sometimes I miss the days of battery powered cameras.

Have fun and stay safe on all your adventures!

After living overseas a few different time and traveling so much now, I’m an expert packer. ๐Ÿ˜‰ People are always amazed when I roll up to a foreign country with just two carry-ons.

funny picture of all the chargers! I will be the same way I think when I go home for New Year’s.

20 Heather @ The Joyful Kitchen December 23, 2009 at 6:25 pm

You know, even though you have a random clean-out-the-fridge salad, it still sounds great! And so great you have your stuff packed! Have fun!

21 Lily @ Lily's Health Pad December 23, 2009 at 6:54 pm

Have a safe trip! I laughed when I saw the pic of the chargers. If I left a charger at home while traveling, it just might be the end of the world!

Homemade sugar cookies are most certainly superior!

Glad you successfully got everything packed! It’s seriously a miracle that we survive with all of the chargers we have nowadays ๐Ÿ˜‰

I feel your pain. I once had to pack for Hawaii and Japan in the same trip.
