I think all the cold weather follow me home from St. Louis. It was a wee bit chilly on my run this morning. I had to break out the ear covering head band, gloves, and running jacket. I hope this weather sticks around for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party tonight.
Today’s run was a make-up for the one I missed on Wednesday. I ran an easy 3 miles with 6×100 strides at the end.
I came back feel refreshed and rejuvinated.
Enter bowl of cold cereal.

- 1 cup Quaker Oatmeal Squares
- 1/2 cup Annie’s Vanilla & Coco Bunnies
- Sprinkle Pumpkin Granola
- Blueberry Oikos
- 1/2 Apple

The blueberries oikos had busted when I opened the refrigerator door this morning. I scraped what I could out of the part of the container that hadn’t been exposed to the floor and threw away the rest.

I have the pleasure of working from home today, but I am having difficulties logging into my e-mail remotely. Oh please, please, please start working so that I don’t have to call my IT department. They are really, really nice guys, but everytime something is wrong with my computer they make it seem like a simple fix and I end up feeling like a big dork. Anyone else ever run into this problem?
P.S. Check out Maddie’s new hiding spot.

Now, if I can just get her to lay there with her christmas dress on.

awww Maddie is soo cute under the tree! I love how you FL girls hope the cold weather stays and us NY girls wish for your warm FL weather.. Every time I can’t take the cold anymore I pull up my Disney Half Map and think of being in FL hehe..
Love Maddie. Our dog refuses to wear any kind of clothes–he’ll run in circles trying to bite them off! Poor guy.
Maddie is soooo cute!
Maddie! She is so cute. That definitely has Christmas card potential!
My dog is too big for any dress-up clothes. He’s bigger than me, and they don’t make clothes for big dogs. Too bad, Roscoe!
Ha! I hear you on the IT problems, one of my IT friends told me: 99% of all IT problems can be fixed by restarting your computer. So if you do that and it still doesn’t work, you can call IT and be like “I already restarted; now what?”
Good luck!
this made me laugh. I’m in the IT department at my work, but I don’t get the help desk calls thankfully. I don’t know if I could even help, and then I would feel dumb too
that’s funny because my cat has been sitting under the tree since i put it up! he loves it there and it’s such a cute spot for him
i hope your email issues get resolved!
I was just at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party on Sunday and it was so much fun! Make sure you get some sugar cookies and hot chocolate. Although I have to say my favorite treat is the ice cream sandwich at Main Street Bakery. We were able to get on almost every ride with a less then 5 minute wait and even walked right on a few times. Most of the crowd was in Tomorrowland. Have a great time!
Maddie’s new spot is so cute! Hope you get your email working and Christmas shopping done!
Aw, I love your little tree. And the pooch underneath! so cute.
MADDIE!
Good luck with IT. Maddie looks adorable under the tree like that! AW
Aww I love Maddie’s hiding spot!
I love it…I want a cute puppy under my tree for Christmas!! Guess I will have to just deal with my two stinky dogs instead!! LOL

It was SO chilly this morning! I actually considered going to the gym instead of running outside. I guess we can’t complain too much though…cold down south is so much different than up north! Great bfast bowl. Enjoy your day from home with your cute little muffin
Adorable pic of Maddie:)
Jealous you can work from home today!! That would be heaven :O). Enjoy!!

Put a bow on Maddie and she’d be the best present
haha maddie is too cute! i have never tried blueberry oikos but it looks really good, may be time to step outside the box!
You are probably too young to remember, but this post totally reminded me of the SNL skit about a companies crazy obnoxious computer guy. LOL! Look it up on youtube!
I LOVED that skit with Jimmy Fallon! I’m so glad my IT guys arent that obnoxious.
I really want to try those Annie’s Bunnies!
Way to save the Oikos!! haha. Good luck with work today and your email. Fingers cross for ya!
aw I wish I had a doggy to sit under the tree….wait I also wish I had a tree! LOL
Oh I hear ya on that! I know the restarting trick, but I’ve totally done the “frantic email/call to IT only to learn that something was unplugged” kind of thing…more than once. Luckily the guy is cool about it, but still… embarrassing!
I wish I could work from home! Not really an option for teachers.
Have fun at MVMCP. Disney is the one thing I miss about living in Central Florida… Luckily, I’m only two hours away!
I am so technologically-challenged. EVERY time I seem to have a computer problem, it ends up being something so small and miniscule. Sigh.
Your tree looks so pretty!
I love Maddie under the tree! how adorable!
OMG I love the IT guys at my office but I always feel like such an idiot when they can fix something in 2 seconds. Like I’ll restart my computer and the problem won’t fix itself but they restart my computer and its all fixed!
That is such a nice picture of Maddie! Cute.
You’re SO lucky! I wish I were working at home!
Maddie is so cute. We can’t get my sister’s dog to wear her outfits very long either, it’s so sad.
Maddie is too freakin’ cute. I die!
yummy cold bowl of cereal!

What IS it with pets laying on tree skirts? Seriously, they must think we put them there specifically for them!

I LOVE mismatched sweats and crazy hair days. You still look hot!! haha
Hi Meghann!
Maddie looks so cute under the tree! Just be careful- the tree is poisonous to dogs, many of whom eat the sheddings/branches/you name it. Have a good holiday!
