It’s hard to believe this morning I ran a half marathon in 1:52:51.
All day I kept repeating to myself ‘I ran 13.1 miles at an 8:37 pace!’ Its a fact that never gets old. I just had to remember to keep that statement to myself and not to blurt it out to every person I came in contact with like the person at the ticket counter for the movies or the bag boy who bagged my groceries.
My stomach has felt really off all day. One minute I’m starving and the other my stomach is painfully cramping. I’m not sure what was up, but during the moments I was starving I managed to get some great eats.
Including some Thanksgiving Day left overs that I was ready to eat before 11:00, but managed to hold off until the more reasonable lunch hour of 11:30.

After missing our chance to see The Blind Side on Friday night, Derek and I saw the 12:10 showing this afternoon.

I am a sucker for inspirational sports movies and this one really won my heart. I loved how the story line focused more on Sandra Bullock’s character and how her love for this boy with no home pushed him to succeed.
If you are looking for a cute movie I would suggest seeing this one.
When the movie let out Derek and I headed back to my parent’s house and snacked on a bag of blue corn chips and salsa.

The 4:00 am wake up call was finally catching up to me. Maddie and I enjoyed a nice nap on the couch while an unknown photographer snapped a couple of photos of us sleeping beauties.

When I finally packed up my belongings and headed back to Orlando I was in no mood to cook anything extravagant for dinner. Instead I just pieced together a bunch of random left overs to produce a semi- complete meal.

My left over salad consisted of
- Kale
- Left over T-day Roasted Veggies
- Artichoke Hearts
- Cranberry Sauce
- Almonds

And a piece of Pumpkin Cornbread on the side.

For dessert a small bowl of Mini TJ Peanut Butter Cups, Pom, & Chocolate Covered Crackers.

I am exhausted! Do I really have to work tomorrow? Better try to catch up on some sleep now.
What a wonderful holiday weekend.
Wouldn’t trade any of it for a second!
Good Night!!
Oh and I almost forgot, This is your last week to get your votes in for the Sam-e Good Mood Gig!

My stomach cramps after distance runs as well, it’s important to consume ample amounts of salt to aid that, try sipping on chicken broth or munching on a bag of pretzels. Great job today!
