Shopping is exhausting!
I have been up since 5:30 am shopping till I dropped and trust me – I dropped! All I want to do right now is take a nice hot shower and curl up on the couch for a nice long nap, but first let me review my very crazy day.
It all started before the sun rose with a hearty breakfast of Pumpkin Scone and Grapes.

The left over cranberry sauce made a great addition to the pumpkin scone.

Yum!
We attempted to hit as many stores as possible before the doorbusters ended. We had plenty of hits and misses as far as sales, but overall did pretty good. I believe the craziest scene I witnessed in the early morning was the crazy line at Best Buy that literally wrapped around the store.

We walked into Best Buy right around 8:00 and by then all the good deals had been picked through. At that point the line just wasn’t worth standing in. My Sister did manage to get a great deal on a new phone, but thankfully waiting in the line was not necessary.
We ran into a few more stores and along the way I snacked on an Apple I had packed in my purse.

And this free cookie sample they were handing out at the mall.

When my family shops we tend to push lunch to the back of our minds. We started debating lunch around 11:30, but kept saying we just had to hit one more store and then another. Before we knew it, it was after 1:00 and we were all starving and easily irritated – the true definition of hangry!
Luckily, we spotted Tijuana Flats before too major of a fight broke out.

I ordered a regular non-dairy black bean burrito with all the trimmings and covered with verde salsa.

I also had a piece of my brother’s chicken tostada.

The food was just what I needed. I ate the entire burrito, tostada, and the majority of the chips.

After lunch we hit up the running store, so Kelly could purchase some much needed new running shoes.

I love shopping for new running shoes, even if they aren’t my own. I find running shoes fascinating and love to hear from others have to say about different brands, fits, and stability.

Loved these ornaments!

Since we were in the area Kelly and I headed to the Space Coast Race Expo to pick up our packet’s for Sunday’s half marathon.

The ‘expo’ was very tiny and consisted of just a few booths.

Having all my race materials in hand just made me that much more excited for my race on Sunday. I can’t wait!!
We ended our shopping extravaganza at Sam’s Club where I managed to avoid the majority of their free samples, but I couldn’t resist the full sized Hot Chocolate for the ride home.

I had quite a successful shopping day. Didn’t really buy anything for other people, but I did get a few goodies for myself.

My favorite purchase has to be the pretty Christmas dress I found for 50% off for Maddie!!

My goal is to have her sit still in front of the Christmas tree with the christmas dress on. Do you think I can pull it off?

And my favorite purchase by someone else is easily the brand new 52in flat screen my parent’s bought each other as an early christmas present.

Their tv broke a week ago and my Mom was not going home today without a new tv. They were able to find a pretty amazing doorbuster deal at Sears.

My Sister made a very bold statement a few minutes ago that Apple Pie makes the best snack and I have to agree. This piece I have been enjoying while blogging is pretty amazing.

My hot shower and couch awaits!
Did you find any great black Friday deals today?
p.s. the boots in my photos yesterday were from the Target clearance rack last winter.
