Congrats to my little graduate!

Maddie officially graduated from her 8 week puppy training class tonight. She can now sit, stay, lay down, leave it, loose leash walk, and come when called.

Our trainer brought a cap and sash out for the little graduates to pose with. I was a very proud fur Mommy.

I am still debating taking Maddie to the intermediate course, but with the holidays coming up I am going to have to put that commitment on hold for the moment. Overall I was very pleased with the training class offered through my local PetSmart and highly encourage other puppy parents seeking puppy training to check out similar classes in their own area.
This afternoon I had an off site meeting that lasted a little longer than intended. By the time I made it back to my desk at 4:00 I was starving and gobbled up my snack of Pumpkin Seeds and Dried Peaches in 10 seconds flat.

Dinner was rushed before puppy class and quickly thrown together.

I cooked a sweet potato in the microwave for 5 minutes then topped with black beans, mushrooms, avocado, and plain yogurt.

You know I couldn’t resist a piece of Pumpkin Cornbread on the side.

Seriously can’t enough of this!
My dinner was filling, delicious, and took 7 minutes top to throw together. This meal just goes to show you that fast food doesn’t necessarily have to involve a drive thru to work.
After puppy class Maddie and I celebrated with treats. She got a peanut butter filled bone and I got a serving of Edy’s Tart Honey Yogurt with Pom Seeds and Granola.

Yum!
Now if you will excuse me I have some serious Thursday night TV to catch up on. Vampire Diaries here I come!
Good Night!!
