What a night, What a night!!!!

(Yes, thats the red dress and Yes you better believe I was rockin it
)
FoodBuzz teamed up with the fabulous people from Outstanding in the Field for last night’s fabulous dinner.

Outstanding in the Field specializes in uniting people at one table and bringing them to the heart of where there food comes from. It’s the ultimate farm-to-table concept and last night it brought us the Greenleaf Produce Warehouse in the heart of San Francisco.

The kitchen had no walls and opened right into the dining area so what we could see the food being prepared fresh and delicately.

Passed hors d’oeuvres went straight from the table to the crowd

And wine paired specifically for each course flowed freely through the evening

After two days of only having a little bite of this and a little bite of this, it felt good to sit down to a real meal.

The culinary team of Namu did a fabulous job putting together the korean influences meal that focused on local produce and sustainable, pasture raised meats. Everything was unbelieveable.

Mushroom dashi, maritake, shimeji, enoki mushrooms

Udon, grilled calamari in a brown butter ponzu reduction, cucumber, kaiware, frisee & yellow pear tomato with chojang & sesame vinaigrette

Salmon baked with dashikombu, fried garlic and Japanese curry powder

Mushroom risotto with koshihikari rice, crispy maitake mushrooms

AMAZING!

Roasted brussels sprouts, ponzu fried garlic, guanciale, bonito flakes

The above serving times three – seriously my favorite dish of the night!

Soy braised beef cheeks and oxtails, baby carrots and fingerling potato, OB Beer and denjang demi

And finally dessert… Koshihikari Rice Putting, cookie crumble and warren pear

The evening ended with the first annual food blogger awards!

Congrats to all the winners but especially
Jenna for Blogger you’d most like to have a show on the Food Network

Tina with a triple crown win of Blogger You’d most want to make you a cocktail, Blogger you’d most like to take to Dinner, and for Best Healthy Living Blog!!

And Kath for the big win of Best Overall Blog!!

Caitlin won Best Humanitarian Blog for Operation Beautiful and had asked ahead a time if I would accept on her behalf.

I’ve been on a high all evening and to have all of my great friends win all the awards they were nominated for was just a huge rush. I was smiling ear to ear.
After dinner we continued the party at the hotel bar

I stuck with water, but did share a chocolate torte with the girls

And then called it a night because of the 11 mile run I had planned this morning. I promise I’ll be back later with details!!
