(Yes, thats the red dress and Yes you better believe I was rockin it ;) )

FoodBuzz teamed up with the fabulous people from Outstanding in the Field for last night’s fabulous dinner.

IMG_8824.JPG

Outstanding in the Field specializes in uniting people at one table and bringing them to the heart of where there food comes from. It’s the ultimate farm-to-table concept and last night it brought us the Greenleaf Produce Warehouse in the heart of San Francisco.

The kitchen had no walls and opened right into the dining area so what we could see the food being prepared fresh and delicately.

IMG_8836.JPG

Passed hors d’oeuvres went straight from the table to the crowd

IMG_8846.JPG

And wine paired specifically for each course flowed freely through the evening

The culinary team of Namu did a fabulous job putting together the korean influences meal that focused on local produce and sustainable, pasture raised meats. Everything was unbelieveable.

I’ve been on a high all evening and to have all of my great friends win all the awards they were nominated for was just a huge rush. I was smiling ear to ear.

Afternoon Taste Pavillion

by Meghann on November 8, 2009

Welcome to the Official FoodBuzz Festival Taste Pavllion

IMG_8708.JPG IMG_8710.JPG

This afternoon FoodBuzz organized a taste pavilion so that all the bloggers could sample all the wonderful food their sponsors had to offer.

IMG_8712.JPG IMG_8713.JPG

IMG_8749.JPG

I didn’t do a very good job of taking photos of all my eats, but just assumed I had a little nibble of everything photographed. ;)

IMG_8776.JPG

During the event some of my favorite bloggers joined forces with Nature Pride and demoed their original recipes featuring Nature Pride products.

Sabrina and her Egg Frittata Muffins

IMG_8715.JPG IMG_8718.JPG

Brandi and her Pumpkin French Toast

IMG_8716.JPGIMG_8717.JPG

Shannon and her Savory Bread Pudding

IMG_8783.JPG IMG_8786.JPG

Britney and her Veggie Stuffed Hummus Sandwich

IMG_8814.JPG

Congrats Ladies! You did fabulous! :)

Bertoli had a booth as well featuring blogger demos and menu choices.

IMG_8730.JPG

Samples of the blogger menu choices were passed throughout the event. All were fabulous!

IMG_8726.JPG IMG_8781.JPG IMG_8793.JPG

Food, Food as far as the eye could see!

IMG_8752.JPG

IMG_8767.JPG

Of course, my favorites were the dessert choices. ;)

IMG_8736.JPG

IMG_8731.JPG

mmmm…. chocolate!

IMG_8750.JPG

IMG_8777.JPG

IMG_8794.JPG

There was plenty of wineries represented in the pavilion, but honestly I was craving beer.

IMG_8742.JPG

My chcolate stout was very rich and delish.

IMG_8743.JPG

After eating, drinking and networking, we enjoyed a much deserved break on the terrace.

IMG_8790.JPG

IMG_8792.JPG

After our grub fest, it was time for the Merlot is Back wine seminar.

IMG_8797.JPG

IMG_8804.JPG

We sampled four California Merlots through out the tasting.

IMG_8800.JPG

IMG_8803.JPG

None of theme really knocked my socks off, but it was fun to expand my understanding of wine.

IMG_8807.JPG

Congrats again Foodbuzz on another job well done with the Tasting Pavillion. I came, I ate and I had a ball. A perfect afternoon if you ask me. :)
