It has been a BEAUTIFUL day in San Francisco. The weather could not be better and neither could the food!
Day 2 of the FoodBuzz Blogger Festival kicked off with a breakfast gathering on the second floor of the ferry building.
Sadly we were not impressed with what FoodByzz had to offer – Good thing there was a HUGE Farmer’s Market happening right outside filled with lots of good eats to make up for it. ๐
First things first, Shannon joined me as I headed over to the same Tea Room I visited yesterday for a hot cup of tea.
Today the Ginger Black was my cup of choice.
The Ferry Plaza Farmer’s Market was HUGE. It was filled with so many wonderful booths selling gorgeous local products and produce.
I happily ate my way through the market.
A bite of TIna’s Bourbon Gluten-Free Bread
Local Fresh Yogurt
I chose the Boisonberry
and then filled it with lovely fresh fruit samples
Chocolate
Grapes
Pumpkin Scone
Almond Butter
The best part was being able explore the market with so many lovely ladies who were just has food and photo crazy as me.
Healthy Living Summit Reunion!
Minus Heather & Caitlin – We miss you two!!
FoodBuzz put together three different food themed seminars for mid-morning. Kath, Tina and I chose the Cowgirl Creamery Tasting and enjoyed an assortment of cheeses from the creamery.
Sue from Cowgirl creamery guided us through all 4 cheeses. She was a wealth of knowledge and has a passion for cheese that could not be matched.
Kath and I shared each sample.
Fromage Blanc
Inverness
Mount Tam
Red Hawk – seasonal cheese.
And that concludes the morning festivities. I will be back later with the rest of the day’s highlights. ๐
i miss you too!!!
